Тема: Зовнішність. Частини тіла.

Appearance. Parts of body.

Objectives:

to introduce the vocabulary on the topic “The parts of the body”;
to practice using the verbs “ have/ has got ”;
to develop reading, listening, writing and speaking skills;
to stimulate creative thinking through the project work;

educate politeness.

Learning outcomes. By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to:

name the parts of the body;
talk about the parts of the body;
describe people, animals, monsters;
use the verbs «this is/these are», « have/has got» in their speech.

Equipment: pupils’ books, flashcards, а computer, additional materials.

Procedure

І. Вступна частина уроку.

1. Warming up.

Good morning! Take your sits. Lets sing « Hello song»

How are you today? (Діти по черзі відповідають: I’m fine, I’m good, I’m in a good mood…). Діти, на початку нашого уроку мені б було важливо знати, яким є ваш настрій та чи налаштовані ви на роботу. Давайте ви продемонструєте мені це за допомогою «смайликів», які є у кожного з вас на парті.

2. Pronunciation Practice. (Фонетико-лексична зарядка).

Аби правильно вітатися англійською, варто спершу потоваришувати зі звуком [h ].

Звук [h ] тендітний – в словах ледь помітний.

ІІ.Актуалізація опорних знань.

1. Aim.

Children lets watch a video.

Look at the blackboard. What do you see at the blackboard? You are right. Today we speak about appearance. You’ll learn how to describe people and toys, get to know some new words, and practice them in exercise, games.

IІІ. Основна частина.

1.Presentation «My body».

2. Game with cards.

Match the pictures with the words.

3. Game «Слова в мішечку».

Take a word, read it and translate.

4 . Game «Puzzles». Work in groups.

Work in pairs. Make the words from the letters.

Anderline the words which belong to the topic “Parts of the body”.

Body, animal, ear, book, pen, pond, hand, leg, tomato, arm, plate, cup, arm – chair, head, foot, boot, eye, open, mouth, grass, nose, finger, berry, fruit, tooth, hair, shoulder, supper, table, toe.

6. Physical minutes(head*sholders*knees)

7. Game «Unfinished sentence».

8. Game «The most attentive».

You should clap your hands if I name and show the parts of my body correctly.

10. Writing.

Look at the picture and make up sentences.

1.Dictation "Picasso dictation",

in which pupils listen and draw what they hеаr instead of writing it down.

"I'm, а small rоbоt. I've got а big head. I've got three eyes. I've got two noses and one big mouth. I've got long hands and short feet.''
