Christmas friends

(Fairytale for pupils of the 3^d form)

 

Мета: розвивати мовленнєві навички учнів під час факультативних занять, використовуючи активну лексику з вивчених тем, формувати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення; розширювати кругозір про традиції святкування Різдва;виховувати бажання вивчати англійську мову.

Обладнання: хатинка, або декорації до неї, стіл стільці, побутові приладдя, театральні костюми, Різдвяний пудинг, смажена індичка, Новорічна ялинка, ялинкові прикраси , свічки, бочечка меду, коробка з цукерками, ноутбук.

Герої: Лисиця, Ведмідь, Кролик, Білочка, Вовк. Хід заняття

(В лісовому будиночку наводить порядки Білочка, застеляє скатертиною стіл, сама чепуриться, раптом хтось стукає в вікно… ) Squirrel – Who is here?

Rabbit – It’s me, Rabbit Bunny, may I come in?

Squirrel – Oh, dear friend…Yes, sure, come in, please.

Rabbit – Oh, you are so friendly, squirrel, thank you. Merry Christmas! 

Squirrel - Merry Christmas!

Rabbit – Sorry, darling, the weather is cold today. It is windy, very frosty and I have lost my road to home.

Squirrel –Don’t worry, everything will be good.

Rabbit – Oh, squirrel, my ears, my nose and my feet are cold. The temperature is about 30 degrees below zero.

Squirrel – I’m waiting for a Bear, a Fox and a Wolf.

Rabbit  – A Wolf?

Squirrel – Yes, he is my friend,  he is an intelligent wolf, not cruel, not greedy, he is a teacher of History in our forest school.

Rabbit  -  Really?

Squirrel – Yes, sure. Moreover, he is communicative, tolerant and very clever.

Rabbit  - I can’t believe. What about Fox?

Squirrel – Fox is my cousin. She is very pretty and she knows foreign languages.

Rabbit   - She is an interpreter?

Squirrel – Yes, you are right.

Rabbit – And they will not kill me?

Squirrel  –  Of course not.

Rabbit – What about Bear?

Squirrel  - Bear Mike is my neighbor, he is a master of our forest, he is e very prosperous businessman of honey and raspberry products. Just now you are drinking a tasty tea with honey from Bear Mike.

Rabbit – It’s a magic. (Раптом хтось постукав у вікно. Лунає Різдвяна колядка, на порозі хатинки з’являються гості з подарунками ) Squirrel  - Glad to see you! Come in, please.

Bear – Merry Christmas, dear neighbor, it’s for you.

(Ведмідь дарує Білці бочечку меду та ще не прикрашену ялинку)

Squirrel – Thank you very much, I’m so happy.

Wolf - Merry Christmas, Squirrel, you are so beautiful to day. This pudding is just for you, it’s very tasty with raspberry jam, and nuts. 

Squirrel – Thank you very much 

Fox- Merry Christmas, my dear cousin. I have a present for you too. Your  aunt Foxy, my mother, sends to you the best wishes and this roast turkey with rice and apples. I think, it will be tasty.

Squirrel – Thanks a lot, my dear. So, let me introduce my new friend, Rabbit Bunny.

Rabbit - Merry Christmas!

Bear –I have an idea, let’s decorate a Christmas tree.

Fox – I think, it’s a good idea.

Squirrel –I have a box of toys

(Білка виносить коробку з ялинковими прикрасами; звірі прикрашають ялинку і співають колядку «O Christmas tree»)

 Bear –Oh, what a wonderful Christmas tree.

Wolf - Yea, it’s so nice.

Fox-Yes, it is very beautiful.

Squirrel –I have a surprise for you, look there under the tree.

Wolf- What is there?

(Всі біжать дивитися під ялинку) Bear –I see it’s a big box.

Squirrel – Open it, please!

Rabbit – I’m afraid.

Fox – Today is a holiday, so it will be something good.

Squirrel – I’m waiting.

Bear – Ok, let’s open it together.

( Звірі  відкривають коробку  і знаходять багато різнокольорових цукерок з горішками. Радіють пригощають один одного…) Fox – Oh, Squirrel , you are so kind.

Squirrel – I’m happy to have good friends, so let’s lay the table.

Wolf- Ok, just a moment, I have some candles too.

(Звірі метушаться, готують все на стіл, сідають, запалюють свічки… ) Rabbit – Dear friends, I want to say something  important.

Fox- What happened, darling?

Rabbit – To tell the truth, it is the best day in my life, I have so many friends, I am very happy. Thank you very much.

Squirrel - Merry Christmas!

(Звірі співають різдвяну колядку)
