1. Greeting
T.-Good morning, pupils!
P.-Good morning, teacher!
T.-How are you today?
P.- We are fine today.
T- Take your seats, please.
2.Aim.
- Children, all people have native home. It is a village, a town or a city. Today we’ll speak about dream place to live.
By the end of the lesson you should be able: to revise words and words combinations for this topic, of course, grammar.
Today you will:
-Listen, read and talk about… dream town
-Learn how to…Find the necessary information quickly
-Revise Vocabulary
-Write the structure There is / there are…
3. Warm-up.
T.- Children close your eyes and listen to my sentences about our classroom. If these are true, you should raise your hand, if false, you should not move.
There is one window.
There are two boards.
There are fifteen chairs.
There are ten students.
There is one door.
There are fifteen desks.
There isn’t a camera.
There isn’t a bookcase.
There are two teachers.
There is a clock.
1. Vocabulary Practice
T. – Children open your book on page 30 and look in the picture. You should listen to CD and repeat each word.
Now you should find the correct number of the places in Dream Town in Activity 2 and write down them into your vocabulary. ( castle, park, railway station, bus station, church, beach, house, swimming pool, river.)
Fast finishers write down the names of three places which are not in the picture. (cinema, bus station, supermarket.)
2. Presentation
T.- So, children, you should listen, read the text and check your answers to Activity 1. You can tick the places from Dream Town on the list in Activity 1.
( check the answer and ask volunteer to read out the names of the nine places.)
3. Grammar
T.- We use there is/isn’t and there are/ aren’t to say that something/ someone is/isn’t somewhere. ( Use visual stimulation. Present the rule of there is/ there are on the board in large letters and in different colours.)
4. Physical Activity
Now I see that you are tired. Your eyes are especially tired. Let us relax.
Look left, look right.
Look up, look down.
Look around.
Look at your nose,
Look at that rose.
Close your eyes.
Open, wink and smile.
T.- Now children you should find and underline the structure in the text.
5. Extra activity
T.- I’m going to divide you into 3 groups. Your task is to find any similarities between Dream Town and your village. You should report your findings to the class.
In our village there is a church.
In our village there are shops.
In our village there is a bus station…..
T.- Ask my questions, please.
T.-Is there a railway station In our village?
P.-No, there isn’t.
T.-Are there any super markets in it?
P.-No, there aren’t
T.-Are there any cinemas in our village?
P.-No, there aren’t
T.-Is there a castle?
P.-No, there isn’t.
T.-Do you like your village? Why?
P.-I like my village because it is beautiful.
T.-What is your dream place to live?
P.( in a big city, in the mountains, on an island, by the sea.)
6. Comprehension
T.- Now children you should refer to the text in Activity 2and decide if the sentences are true or false. (Ask individual students to provide the answers.)

T.- So, children, you should correct the false statements by writing true sentences.

8. Class poll
T.- Now, children, you should choose your own favourite place in Dream Town and write it on a slip of paper. ( Students predict what the class’s favourite place is. Collect and count the votes. Write the result on the board and find out who guessed correctly.)
