My house

Learning aim: to practice the vocabulary on the topic, to develop communication skills, to develop creative imagination and logical thinking, to encourage pupil’s interest in learning

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson students will be able to tell about their houses,    describe it

Equipment and materials: a vocabulary, a copybook, cards, video materials

PROCEDURE

1. GREETING

T: Good afternoon, children!   

Ch: Good afternoon, teacher!

T. Please, sit down. How are you today?

   The topic of our lesson is “My House”. We have already spoken about different countries, life in a city and in a village. We have learnt new words: the names of different rooms last lesson. Today we are going to practice a lot and we are going to do our best to show our knowledge. 

2. WARMING UP

T: Let’s start with doing some phonetic drills

3. REVISING VOCABULARY

T: Last lesson we learnt new words. Please tell me What is this?
