1. Greeting

Good morning, my dear friends. I am glad to see you. Let’s start our lesson. But first we need to stand in a circle and let’s sing our “Hello! How areyou? Song” together.

Now it`s time to say “Hello” to each other.

2. Greeting with a card

I have  5 magic cards. You have to choose one card and say "Hello" to your neighbor as shown there.

3. Warming up and defining a lesson topic

(Naming the words from previous unit “Toys” to guess the name of the lesson.)

I see that you are fine. So, let’s start our lesson. Look at the board. What can you see there?

P: I can see toys.

T: Yes, your task is to guess the name of our lesson. Read the names of these toys and choose only one big letter from each word. Write each letter on the board.

1. Introducing vocabulary

• Let’s look at the screen, listen and repeat, please.
• Look at the board, please. You can see six boxes of different colours. We need to fill our boxes with toys of same color.

T: What colour is this ball?

S: It is blue.

T:  Put it in the blue box, please.

• Watching video

A video time now. Watch a video and sing the names of  colours.

• After-watching activity

Look at the picture of this rainbow and repeat after me: It’s red. It’s yellow., etc.

Now answer the question: What colour is it?

S. It is yellow. It is pink., etc.

2. Physical training

SS sing the song and  repeat movements

3. Work with books p. 46-47 Ex. 1-6

Open your books at page 46. Look at Ex. 1.

• Listen and point. Then say.
• Point, spell and read the names of the colours.
