Тема: Тварини – хороші.

Мета: ознайомити з новими ЛО; розвивати вміння сприйняття тексту на слух; формувати навички правильної вимови звуків англійської мови; навчати читати; розвивати вміння монологічного та діалогічного мовлення; виховувати дбайливе ставлення до тварин.

Обладнання: підручник, опорні малюнки, плакат.

Хід уроку

І Beginning of the lesson.

1. Greeting.

-Good morning! How are you? I`m glad to see you. Our lesson is not original. We have guests. Let`s greet them.

2. Aim.

- At this lesson we`ll start talking about animals. By the end of the lesson you`ll be able to speak about your pet.

3. Warming up.

- Pets are animals that live in our houses. Look at the pictures and help to divide these animals into pets and wild animals.

• Who is this?
• Is this a pet/wild animal?
• Which of these animals would you like to see at home?

II Main part of the lesson.

1. Vocabulary.

1) Open your books on page 84. Whom can we see here? We can see different animals. Repeat after me: a dog, a puppy, a rabbit…

2) Гра «What`s Missing»

Let`s play your favourite game «What`s Missing» You will close your eyes, I`ll take one card and you must guess the missing word. Let`s read all together: a dog, a rabbit, a guinea-pig, a cat, a hamster… Close your eyes and say what word is missing.

3) Гра “Who is the first?”

We have 2 teams. There are some cards with pets on your desks. Listen to me and show the needed animal. Be attentive.

• Answer my questions.
• Do you like pets?
• Have you got a kitten or a puppy?
• What colour is it?
• Have you got a rabbit/a hamster/a parrot?
• Do you like playing with your pets?

4) ex. 3, p.84.

- Now we`ll read a poem “The Pussy-cat”. Listen and repeat after me.

2. Reading.

1) ex.4, p.85.

-  Look at the picture. Whom can we see there? Let`s read about them.

- Now look at the exercise 5. Read and say: “Yes” or “No”.

3. Physical activity.

It's fun to be this,

It's fun to be that,

То leap like a lamb,

(Учні підстрибують, як ягня)

То climb like a cat,

(Лізуть по дереву, як кішка)

То swim like а fish,

(Пливуть, як рибка)

То hop like a frog,

(Стрибають, як жабка)

То trot like a horse,

(Ступають, як кінь)

То jump like a dog.

(Стрибають, як песик)

 

4. Writing.

1) - Look at the board. There you can see a text. But some words are missing. Your task is to write these texts but instead of these pictures you should write the needed words.

2) Look at the board. Your task is to make up names of pets.

- I would like to talk about your pets. I’ll give you two minutes to think and then you’ll tell us about your favourite pet.
