Famous Travelers and Their Journeys
Marco Polo. Marco Polo, an Italian merchant and explorer, is one of the most famous travelers in history. In the late 13th century, Polo traveled from Europe to Asia, reaching China, where he spent years in the court of Kublai Khan.
