Hello,my name is Bill.My surname is Smith.I’m 14 years old.I’m from New York, the USA.We celebrate a lot of different holidays.But my favourite holiday is my birthday, of course.I was born on the 15-th of January and we always have a party on this day.Before the party my family is very busy.My dad goes shopping and buys a lot of food and drinks.My mum cooks many tasty dishes: she roasts a chicken, makes salads and bakes a cake.My granny cleans the house.My sister decorates the party room.I help my mum in the kitchen.

We also invite many guests: my relatives and my friends.They come and give me a lot of presents.I usually get a new book from my parents, a sweater from my grandparents and a lot of sweets, flowers and money from my friends and relatives.

The party usually starts at 3 p.m.and it is always a lot of fun.At the party we eat and drink.We sing and dance.We listen to music and play games.We watch TV and talk about everything.
