“Що?Де?Коли?”

Мета:

•                   навчальна: поглибити базові знання, вміння та навички здобувачів освіти з англійської мови; перевірити знання студентів з тем “Мистецтво”, “Кіноматограф”, “Література”;
•                   розвивальна: розвинути творчі й інтелектуальні здібності студентів, інтерес до навчання, наполегливість та самостійність; розвивати вміння працювати в команді;
•                   виховна: виховувати інтерес до вивченя іноземної мови, взаємоповагу та толерантність.

Завдання:

•                   сприяти поглибленому засвоєнню програмного матеріалу з англійської мови;
•                   формувати інтерес до вивчення навчальної дисципліни;
•                   розвивати мислення, уміння висловити власну думку англійською мовою;
•                   приділяти більше уваги самостійній та творчій роботі здобувачів освіти, навчати їх працювати з словником, довідковою літературою та різноманітними інтернет-джерелами;
•                   розширювати світогляд здобувачів освіти з питань особливостей способу життя сучасного покоління у різних культурах;
•                   сприяти всебічному розвитку гармонійної особистості та виховувати «громадянина світу».

Обладнання:

•                   презентація;
•                   роздатковий матеріал;
•                   відео- та аудіоматеріали.

Перебіг заняття:

1.               Організаційний момент.

•                   перевірка готовності до заняття;
•                   об'єднання здобувачів освіти у команди та визначення капітана;.

2.               Основна частина

Teacher: Good morning, dear students! (Slide 1)

Today we are going to have an interesting journey to the world of art and literature! So today we have got three teams which are going to compete! Our competition is divided into three stages. Firstly, you are going to guess the world-famous building! Secondly, you are going to listen to the trailers of the world-known films and find out the name. Finally, you need to guess the book from the first line. Hope, you are ready. Let’s start our journey. (Slides 2)

Task 1. Famous landmarks

Teacher: Students! Look at the screen. You need to look at 10 pictures of famous buildings and write down the name and the country where it is situated. Pay attention, you need to write into your worksheets. You are going to have 30 seconds for each picture. Let'sts start! (Slides 3-13)

(Teacher shows the first picture, students discuss and write down the answer).

Task 2. Famous movies

Teacher: Students! Be attentive! You are going to listen to excerpts from popular movies. Your task is to guess the name of the movie and write the answer into your worksheet. Get ready! We start now!

(Teacher plays the excerpts from the movies, students guess and write the answers). (Slide 15, 16)

Tip: you have got the link into the teacher’s notes or you can open the slide with the links, but don't show your screen to our students.

Task 3. Famous books

Teacher: Students! Look at the screen, read and listen the first line from the book and guess what book it is and the author.

Teacher: Well done, students! Let’s check your answers and find out the winner! (Slides 15-17)
