Topic: “My favourite kind of holidays”

Тема: «Мій улюблений вид відпочинку»

Мета:

Практична:Вміти аргументувати свій вибір,  розвивати навички аудіювання; діалогічного мовлення; розвивати навички усного мовлення - вчитися розповідати про можливості людей; розвивати навички письма.

Виховна : Виховувати   культуру спілкування  і читання.

Навчальна: ознайомлення з новою лексикою, вивчити новий вірш,  удосконалювати  навички аудіювання, формувати  вміння   учнів працювати в різних режимах.

 Розвивальна: розвивати логічне мислення, уяву,  увагу, спостережливість,пам'ять. Формувати навички роботи у парах, розвивати пізнавальну активність учнів.

Обладнання : Підручник, магнітофон, дидактичні  та тематичні картки, наочний      матеріал, аудіо та відеоматеріали , мультимедійна дошка, роздатковий  матеріал.
                                       Хід уроку:

І.Warming-up. Організаційний момент (5 хв):

1. Привітання, введення в іншомовне середовище.

T: Good morning, children! How are you, today?

T: Let’s talk about the weather. What’s the weather like today?

P1: It’s sunny.\ It’s windy.\ It’s cloudy. Etc.

b) Doing the puzzle

T: Well, friends, to begin with,  have  a  look  at the  blackboard,  please. Here  is  a  puzzle  for  you  to  do. Name  all  the  words in the pictures, take  only the first letter  of  each  word  and  you  will  read  the  topic  of today’s  lesson.

  1. Look at the board. Let’s recollect your favourite  leisure activities. Name it and read useful information.

T: We can’t imagine our life without travelling. They can visit a lot of countries. If you want to be strong and healthy and see the beauty of the country you can go hiking or walking . Answer my questions.

  1.  Reading.
    Read the words and complete the table with different attractions of the rest spots.

These words can help you: cooking in the open fire, working in the kitchen-garden, visiting relatives, barbecuing, hiking, cycling, going sightseeing, sunbathing, walking around the picteresque places, learning the history of the region, watching animals in the wild, making a fire.

When we go somewhere we use different kinds of transport. Which of them can you remember? How about playing game? The one, who will name last will be the winner.

-Look at the blackboard, you can see words and pictures connecting with our today’s theme.  Let’s read them one by one, but pay attention on their pronunciation.
