Освітня мета: ознайомити учнів з природними дивами України, поповнити словниковий запас.
Практична мета: продовжувати формувати навички усного мовлення удосконалювати навички аудіювання з метою розвитку фонематичного слуху та тренування фонематичної пам`яті.
Розвиваюча: розвивати мовну догадку та пізнавальні інтереси, навички аудіювання, діалогічного та монологічного мовлення, вміння працювати в парах та групах, висловлювати та відстоювати власну точку зору.
Виховна мета: виховувати інтерес учнів до природи та усвідомлення важливості охорони довкілля
Обладнання: роздатковий матеріал, презентація , текст для аудіювання, комп’ютер, мультимедіа проектор.
Procedure of the Lesson:
I. Preliminaries of the Lesson.
1. Greeting.
Good morning, pupils! I’m glad to see you at our lesson.
II. Aims.
Today we start studing the new topic “ Nature and the environment». I also think that nature is unique and perfect. It is something people like to watch and to talk about.
Everybody of you has take part in this lesson dedicated to the natural wonders of Ukraine. Some of you will be scientists and representatives of different reserves and national parks .
So our aims for the lesson are:
to learn about famous Ukrainian nature parks and reserves;
to improve listening, reading and speaking skills;
to develop creative abilities and communicative skills;
to be responsible in group work.
III. Main Part
Lexical work.
Read the words and guess their meaning
Conservation - prevention of wasteful use of a resource. (збереження)
Heritage - something we get from past generations. (спадщина)
Recreation - vacation, break, rest. (відпочинок)
Reproduction - is the biological process by which new individual organisms “off spring» - are produced from their «parents”. (розмноження)
Reserve - is a protected area of importance for wildlife, flora, fauna. (заповідник)
Value is a measure of the benefit provided by a good or service to an economic agent. (вартість)
Virgin - not yet used, exploited, or processed. (цілісний, непорушний)
To admire - too look at smth. or smb. with pleasure. (милуватися)
To constitute - 1. Be a part of a whole. 2. Give legal or constitutional form to (an institution); establish by law. (конституювати)
To preserve - 1.maintain (something) in its original or existing state. (зберегти)
Precious - is smth. of great value; not to be wasted or treated carelessly. (безцінний)
Varying- differing in size, amount, degree, or nature. (Різний, мінливий)
