Objectives: - to revise and activate the vocabulary on the topic “Clothes”;
Materials: student’s books “Solutions elementary”, pictures with the parties, internet resources from www.britishcounsil.org, printable worksheets.
I. Greeting and Aim
T: Good morning, pupils. I’m pleased to see you at the lesson. How are you?
Our topic today is “Time to party”. By the end of the lesson you will be able to play a game online, listen and watch a shory online,learn about different types of parties, make a project and build up dialogues.
II. Warming up
T: So, let’s start. What do you usually wear to school?
P1: A school uniform.
T: What do you wer when you go out with friends?
P2: Jeans and a T-shirt.
P3: A tracksuit and trainers.
T: What do yoy usually wear in summer?
P4: Shorts, a dress, a cap, sunglasses.
T: What doyou wear in winter?
P5: A woolly hat, a scarf, gloves.
III. Vocabulary revision.
T: We are going to play a game Teddy Dresser to recall more words on the topic “Clothes”. www.britishcounsil.org

T: We are going to watch a scene about a boy. He is sad because his favourite clothes don’t fit him any more. Let’s match the pictures and the words.

T: Watch the scene and match the sentences from the story.

T: Answer the questions.
V. Presentation of the new vocabulary.
T: Lаbel the pictures with the corresponding words.

T: Make up dialogues. Invite your partner to one of parties. Use the following word combinations:
