Цілі уроку:

 

-активізувати лексику по темі “Holidays in Ukraine”,

 

-розвивати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення з теми,

 

-виховувати повагу до традицій та звичаїв українського народу,

 

-виховувати позитивне ставлення до іноземної мови.

 

Обладнання: підручник,малюнки,мультимедійна презентація, картки з вітаннями.

Привітання.

 

Hello! How are you today? What is the weather like today? Do you like it?

 

2.Оголошення теми і мети уроку.

 

The topic of our lesson is “Holidays in Ukraine”. Today we’ll refresh the words from

 

the topic, speak about different holidays, play games, watch presentations .

 

Brainstorming

 

1. What do you think about when you hear the word “holiday”?(дошка)

So, holidays is a beautiful thing, when people have a rest, give presents and have

 

parties. Holidays  bring us joy and happiness.

3. What is the Ukrainian for?

 

Many holidays, grown-ups, Easter, religious holidays, Independence Day, special day,

 

national traditions, birthday, a family gets together, famous people, parades and

 

fireworks.

 

4. What is the English for?

 

Свята, ми не ходим до школи, ходити до церкви, релігійні свята, День подяки,

 

національні традиції, звичаї, День матері.

 

3. Presentation. Now let’s see a presentation.(мультимедійна презентація, pictures of the holidays on the blackboard.

 

 

You can see the pictures of the holidays on the blackboard.

 

Name them and write near the picture what holiday it is. (малюнки)

 

Every holiday has its symbols. Look at the symbol and tell what holiday is it?

 

 

4. Now look at the blackboard and match the holidays with the dates:
