Тема: Подорожі. Види транспорту.

Мета навчальна: розширити знання учнів про подорожі і види транспорту;

                               навчити ставити запитання загального типу в Present 

 Perfect; навчити розповідати про свій улюблений вид

 транспорту в опорі на схему; навчити розпізнавати

 граматичне явище have to / must в тексті; ознайомити з

                       новими лексичними одиницями, закріпити ці знання у

              ході виконання практичних завдань.

         

Мета розвивальна: розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію учнів;

                                    формувати здатність порівнювати мовні явища рідної та

                                  та іноземної мов; розвивати здатність мовного

                                  самоконтролю; розвивати уяву учнів в умовах роботи

                                  в парах; удосконалювати техніку читання; розвивати    

                                  вміння аудіювати текст, ігноруючи незнайомі слова.

Мета виховна: формувати всебічно розвинену особистість; виховувати

          інтерес до вивчення теми та до іншомовного середовища;

                    виховувати потребу розширювати свій кругозір; формувати

                   мотивацію до вивчення іноземної мови.     

Обладнання: роздатковий матеріал; презентація "Means Of Transport";

                ілюстративний матеріал.

І. Початок уроку. Організаційний момент

- Good morning, pupils. I`m glad to see you. Get ready for the lesson.

Sit down, please.

- Who is on duty today?

Look attentively around the class and tell me please: Who is absent today?

1. 1 Фонетична зарядка

- Let`s revise the sound [g]. Look at the black-board. You can see there a tongue-twister. At first I`ll read it to you and then we`ll try to translate it together. Listen to me carefully.

- How are you today?

(Fine)

- What is the weather like today?

(The sun is shinning. It is cold and frosty. It is windy. It is not cloudy and foggy)

- Do you like today’s weather? Why?

(Yes, I do. I like this weather because winter is my favorite season)

- Do you like travelling? Where did you travel at last time?

(Yes, I do. I like travelling very much. At last time I went to Crimea)

Our previous topic was "Holidays". It is closely connected with our new topic "Travelling and Transport". Because when people have a long or short holidays they can travel a lot by different kinds of transport.

- What means of travelling do you know?

- Tell me please:

Which is the quickest kind of transport?

Which one is the slowest?

Which means of transport is the cheapest?

Which one is the most expensive?

Which method is the most comfortable?

Which method is less comfortable?

This slide can help you to answer these questions

(I think that the quickest means of transport is plane)

(I suppose the slowest kind of transport is trolleybus)

(I believe that the cheapest means of transport is tram)

(In my opinion the most comfortable means of transport is bus)

- Let's have a look at the history of transport developing.  

What do you think the transport started with?

Look at the slide. Everything started with the wheel. Nobody knows who created it but it was one of the greatest inventions of the mankind. Repeat this word.

 

Now, look and repeat the names of different kinds of transport in their historical order.

Chariot (колісниця) – carriage (візок) – horse tramway (кінно-залізна дорога) – tram (трамвай) – train (поїзд)

- Look at the modern means of transport.

 

Bicycle (велосипед), car (машина), bus (автобус), trolleybus (тролейбус).

Raft (пліт), boat (човен) ship steamer \ steamship (пароплав)

Helicopter (гелікоптер), plane (літак), spaceship (космічний корабель).

 

- But transport differs in different countries. It depends on the geographical position of the country and its economical development. In poor Asian countries like India people still use such kind of transport as rickshaw.

 

- Сan you name me some animals which people use for travelling in Asian, African and Nothern countries?

- What exotic means of travelling can we see in Italy, in the city of Venice?

- Now you are acquainted with different kinds transport. You must learn them for the next lesson.
