- Good afternoon, dear guests!
- Nice to see you at our English-speaking party “Seasons Festival”.
- Today we are going to speak about seasons of the year.
- We hope you’ll like our party. Let’s begin.
- In spring the trees are green.
In autumn they are red and golden,
In summer the sun is bright,
In winter the snow is white.
But we can play and we can sing
In autumn and in winter,
In summer and in spring.
- Many years ago Mother Earth and Father Sun had many children.
They had 4 daughters: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
When they were little, they were fond of being together, playing with the same toys, wearing the same dresses. When they become grown up, everyone understood how different they were.
- Winter. I’m the first sister. Oh, I’m so beautiful and cold! My hair is fair and long. I am fond of white colour . I like it when everything is clean and white.
- Spring. I’m the second sister. I like singing songs. I can make you happy. When I come flowers start to grow, green leaves appear on the trees. Birds come back from the South. My favourite colour is green.
- Summer. I’m the third sister. I’m active and lively. I’m the hottest season of the year. The sun shines brightly, green grass and flowers are everywhere. The children have their summer holidays.
10. Autumn. I’m the fourth season, the fourth sister. I have brown eyes and curly red hear. I’m clever and beautiful. Yellow and red are the best colours for me.

- Winter. I’m the season when the snow is falling,
The wind is blowing,
The ground is white
All day and all night.
- Cold December bring us skating
For the New Year we are waiting.
- January brings us snow
Makes our feet and fingers glow.
- February snows again
And sometimes it brings us rain.
- Come to the garden
And play in the snow
Make a white snowman
And help him to grow.
- What a nice snowman!
The children will say.
- What a fine game
For a cold winter day!
- Skiing, skiing, skiing
Boys and girls so gay
Like to ski together
On a winter day!
- It is snowing, it is snowing!
What a lot of snow!
Let’s make some snowballs,
Which we all like to throw.
- Winter. What holidays do we have in winter?
- New Year and Christmas are happy days
We are glad and very gay
We dance and sing and say
“Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!”

- Butterfly. Dear spring, spring, spring
The trees are green
Blue skies are seen
The sun begins shining,
The flowers are blooming,
The sky is blue,
The rains are few.
- March brings sunny days and winds,
So we know that spring begins.
- April brings the primrose sweet,
We see daisies in our feet.
- May brings flowers, joy and grass,
And the holidays for us.
- Spring is dancing without rest
In a beautiful green grass.
Flowers grow under her feet,
Singing birds her coming greet.
- This is the season when snowdrops bloom ,
When nobody likes to stay in the room!
This is the season when birds make their nests
This is the season we like best!

- Round and round
The seasons go
Summer comes-
Hot and slow!
26. Summer. I’m the season when nights are short
And children are full of fun and sport,
Boating and swimming all the day
Will make you healthy and strong!
- June brings tulips, lilies, roses
Fills the children’s hands with posies.
- Hot July brings apples and cherries,
And a lot of other berries.
- August brings us golden corn,
Then the harvest home is borne.

The seasons go,
Autumn comes-
Winds blow.
- Autumn, autumn, autumn!
The summer is over,
The trees are bare,
There’s mist in the garden
And frost in the air!
- Autumn. I’m the season,
When school friends meet,
When noisy and gay.
And browned by sun
With their books and bags
To school they run.
Summer is over,
September comes,
October and November
Are my little sons.
- September. September brings you school,
Days are shorter, nights are cool.
34. October. Fresh October brings much fruits,
Then to gather them is good.
- November. Red November brings us joy,
Fun for every girl and boy.
- This is the season
When days are cool
When we eat apples
And go to school.
- The school has doors that open wide
And friendly teachers wait inside.
Hurry, hurry, let’s go in
For soon the lessons will deign.
37. Books and pencils you will need,
When you start to write and read.
Lots to learn and lots to do,
You like to go to school, don’t you?
38. The school bell rings, we run to class,
The teacher tells new things to us,
We get new knowledge every day.
Oh, school, we “thank you”, pupils say.
Song “
- Oh, look! What’s this? This tree is so sad… And look there. Who are you?
- Squirrel. I’m a squirrel. This tree is my home. But it’s going to die. And I’ll have no place to live. Dear seasons, help my tree. Show us which of you loves trees more!!!
- Spring. I love trees more! I’m Spring. Green beautiful leaves to them I bring.
- Summer. Oh, dear tree, you are so sad. I give you flowers yellow, pink and red.
- Autumn. I love the trees more
I give them fruits – sweet and red.
44. Winter. I love trees more!!!
I give them all rest.
45. Squirrel. Thank you Seasons for helping my tree! I t is so beautiful now! Good bye!!
46. It’s time to say “Good Bye!” We had a good party today. But all is well that ends well.
47. Many wonderful things to hear, to see,
Belongs to you, belongs to me.
- The sun, the trees, the grass, the sky,
The yellow moon that’s passing by.
- The cold long winter with snow so white
The running rives, the stars of night.
Our party ends.
- Spring. Now, we must go.
- Summer. But we’ll be back.
- Autumn. Each of us in it’s time.
- Winter. To bring you a good cheer.
- Seasons. Each month.
We are happy to be with you!
