Autumn Party

Мета: розвивати інтелектуальні, мовленнєві та творчі здібності учнів;

формувати позитивну мотивацію до вивчення англійської мови;

повторити та закріпити вивчений матеріал;

вчити дітей колективній діяльності, співпраці.

 

Хід заходу

T.: Good afternoon! I’m very glad to see you in this beautiful hall! It’s lovely day, isn’t it? Everything is bright: yellow, red, orange. The weather is wonderful. So, let’s start our autumn party.

Compere 1. Hello everybody: dear children, teachers, guests!

Compere 2. We are glad to see you at our English autumn party.

Compere 1. We’ll sing songs and recite the poems in English.

Compere 2. So, be with us!

Compere 1. Don’t go away!

Compere 2. Sing together with us!

C  1. I think you’ll spend your free time wonderfully.

C 2. Attention please! Are you ready for our party? So let’s go!

C 1.  This is the season

         When it is cool

         When we eat apples

         And go to school.

         What season is it?

C 2. Autumn. So, meet our quests Mrs. Autumn and her sons.

Autumn. I come after summer, when days become cool. I am the richest season. No wonder I bring fruit, vegetables and turn the leaves red, yellow and brown. Everything looks so beautiful in its colorful dress. They say I am the golden season. The rains begin. One day you get up and see that your town is all covered with snow. I have got three sons – three months: September, October, November.

 

 

 

 

 

 

September

There are twelve months in a year,

From January to December –

And the best month of the all twelve

Is the merry month of September.

 

 

 

 

 

 

October.

Golden in the tree tops,

Golden in the sky,

Golden, golden, golden

October’s passing by.

 

November

The summer is over,

The trees are bare,

There is mist in the garden,

And frost in the air.
