Позакласний захід з англ.мови для 5х класів "Master Chief"

                     Розважальне шоу «Master Chef»

Мета: практикувати учнів у вживанні в усному та писемному мовленні вивчених лексичних одиниць; практикувати учнів у читанні, аудіюванні та говорінні; узагальнити вивчені лексичні одиниці та навчити учнів використовувати їх у мовленні, поглиблювати знання учнів з теми, мовну здогадку і мовленнєву реакцію учнів; розвивати здатність мовного самоконтролю; розвивати уяву учнів в умовах роботи в групах і парах; розвивати навички логічного викладу думок, прищеплювати цікавість до іноземної мови, виховувати ввічливість у спілкуванні з товаришами, виховувати вміння толерантно співпрацювати в парах та тимчасових групах; агітувати за здоровий спосіб життя та здорове харчування.

Обладнання: роздаткові картки, іграшкова їжа, музика для релаксації, конверти із загадками

І. Організаційний момент.

1. Привітання

Good morning boys and girls I’m glad to see you!

2. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку

How do you do? Are you in a good mood? We have got an interesting lesson today. It will be the competition to see who is the wittest, the most active and the most attentive. Do you want to take part in the competition? So, here we go!

Let’s imagine that we take part in a popular show “Master chef”. Have you ever watched it? How many teams do take part in it? What are their names?

So let’s divide into “Blues” and “Reds”. Each team chooses the leader.

I prepared an unusual task for you today. Now you have to try to divide these words and write this sentence correctly

Команди отримують завдання на картці, потрібно знайти та обвести слова, вписати їх в картку та прочитати речення. За правильне виконання 1 фішка

 As you see, our sentence is connected with eating. So, the theme of our competition will be food and cooking. But our competition wouldn’t be usual. Today we’ll be the contestants in the show “Master Chef”. Now you are divided into two teams – red and blue. But be ready – you’ll work hard today, because cooking is rather difficult work.

 

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.

1. Task “What vegetable is it?”

I have a box, you must take an envelope of it and guess what food is it said about.

Капітани команд витягують загадку з коробочки, колективно знаходять відповідь, потім зачитують загадку і відповідають на неї. За кожну відповідь 1 фішка

• It’s a vegetable. It is round and yellow. It makes you cry when you try. (an onion)

• It’s a long, orange vegetable. Rabbits like it. (a carrot)

• It’s white. You like to drink it. We get it from the cow. (milk)

• It’s not a vegetable, not a fruit. It’s cold and sweet. It is made of milk. (ice cream)

• It’s oval and green. It’s a vegetable. (a cucumber)

• It is long and yellow fruit. It is sweet and tasty. It grows in the tree. Monkeys like to eat it. (a banana)

• It is a vegetable. It is red and juicy. You can eat it cooked or raw. (a tomato)

• It is a yellow and sour fruit. You can put it into your tea. (a lemon)

 

2. Task “Healthy/unhealthy food”

I like the way you are working. But don’t relax. I have one more task for you.  I give you a plate, a rubbish bin, and the names of meals. You must choose one and decide, if this meal is healthy or unhealthy. Then you have to say what we should to eat to be healthy.

Команди працюють колективно. Клеять картки з словами на потрібний малюнок: тарілку чи відро для сміття.

3. Task “Ways of Cooking”

Now choose somebody who will take some food from a bag, because he or she must answer how can this food be cooked or prepared,

 eg. We can chop and boil potato        Представники команд виймають з мішечка іграшкову їжу й говорять як її можна приготувати використовують дієслова.

4. Task “Make a dessert”

One team will write the recipe of a banana dessert and the other team - the recipe of a strawberry shake. You must choose only yours sentences from the list. Put them into the correct order and make a good recipe.

Команди працюють колективно кожна команда вибирає речення лише для свого рецепту. Записують на картці. Максимальна кількість балів 3 фішки

1) Take two bananas, peel and slice them.

2) Take some strawberries, and then freeze them in the fridge.

3) Put the slices into a bowl.

4) Cut two oranges into halves and squeeze some orange juice.

5) Add some cream and nuts.

6) Put the strawberries, yogurt, and orange juice into a blender and mix them until smooth.

7) Pour your dessert with chocolate.

8) Enjoy your meal!

9) Your shake is ready!

 

5. Now I want you to relax a little bit and to listen to music. You may sit or move the way you like.

6. Task “Listening”

Now it’s time to be very attentive, because I have one more task for you. You’ll listen to the text and find out, what ingredients will be used for cooking “Vegetable Soup”. Are you ready? You’ll listen this text only once.

                                        “Vegetable soup”

One Sunday Alex and his father decided to cook vegetable soup for lunch. Alex filled a large pot with water. He put it on the cooker. Alex`s father cleaned and chopped carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, and green beans. Then father began to cut some meat into small chunks. He added all the vegetables and meat to the boiling water. When the soup was done cooking, Alex`s father poured it into plates.

7. Task “Countable/uncountable”

As you know all nouns are divided into two groups: countable and uncountable. There is so much food on the picture, help me please to divide them into two columns.

Команда працює колективно, записують в дві колонки слова зображені на малюнках. Завдання оцінюється в 4 фішки.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. Break. Let’s make a vegetablesalad/ fruit salad/ soup.

What do we take? A cucumber, cut, cut, cut… Учні називають інгредієнти і руками показують як їх нарізати.

 

9. Task “Draw the dish”

Our last task is to draw the dish and describe it. The leader of a team takes a card, pupils guess what is it, then draw and colour. When the work is finished describe the dish: say what ingredients it contains and how yummy is it. But be quick!

Капітани команд витягують картку (піца, суп, торт, салат), домальовують та розфарбовують. Потім представник команди описує страву: які інгредієнти туди входять, чи смачна вона. Завдання 3 фішки

 

III. Підведення підсумків, оголошення результатів та нагородження
