Позакласний захід з англійської мови   «MasterChef»

                           Вчителя англійської мови : Шаравага М.В.

Мета заходу: в ігровій формі закріпити вивчений лексичний і граматичний матеріал,                дати можливість кожному учню виявити активність, показати рівень своєї ерудиції, виховувати повагу до думки іншого.

Обладнання: картки із завданнями, ілюстрацій ний матеріал, кросворди, фартухи, емблеми, кошики.

І.Організаційна частина

Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you!

T: How do you do, my dears? Are you in a good mood? Are you ready for the lesson? We have got an interesting game  today. It will be a competition to see who is the most attentive and the most active. Do you want to take part in this competition? So, go ahead!

Let’s imagine that we are the participants of the popular show “MasterChef”. Have you ever watched it? How many teams take part in it? Yes, you are right. There are two of them: “Blues” and “Reds”. I’ll divide the same way. You have to choose a leader.

ІІ. Основна частина

1.Underline  the words connected with “Meals”

(Ведуча зачитує всі слова серед яких є слова на тему «Їжа». Учасникам потрібно порахувати їх кількість – 2 бали за правильну відповідь.)

2. What vegetable is it?

  Take the envelope and guess the riddles about food.

• It’s a vegetable. It’s round and yellow. It makes you cry when you try.  (An onion)
• It's a long, orange vegetable. Rabbits like it.  (A carrot)
• It’s white. You like to drink it.   We get it from the cow.  (A milk)
• It’s not a vegetable, not a fruit.    It is cold and sweet. It is made of milk. (An ice-cream)
• It’s oval and green. It’s a vegetable. (A cucumber).
• It is long and yellow fruit. It is sweet and tasty. It grows in the tree. Monkeys like to eat it. (A banana).
• It is a vegetable. It is red.    (A tomato).
• It is a white vegetable with a brown or red­dish skin which grows underground and is used for food. (potato)

6. Recipe
    Read the recipe. Fill in the gaps with the words from the box. Guess what recipe it is.
