Svitiaz is the deepest lake in Ukraine, with a maximum depth of 58.4 m. It is the second largest in the country. Svitiaz belongs to groups of Shatsk's lakes, which are located in Polissia (Volyn Region) in the north-western corner of Ukraine, close to the borders with Poland and Belarus. The lake is the part of Shatskyi National Natural Park. In the middle of the lake there is an island of 7 hectares in size. The lake occupies an area of 25.2 km², the average depth is 6.9 m., the transparency of water to 8 metres. The length of the lake is 9.3 km. The biggest width is 8 km. It is also very popular.

The Styr is a right tributary of the Pripyat, with a length of 494 kilometres. Its basin area is 13,100 square kilometres and it is located in the historical region of Volhynia. The Styr begins near Brody, Lviv Region, then flows into Rivne Region, Volyn Region, then into Brest Region of Belarus where it finally flows into the Pripyat. Notable settlements located on the river are Lutsk, Staryi Chortoryisk and Varash.

The Dnieper is one of the major transboundary rivers of Europe, rising in the Valdai Hills near Smolensk, Russia, before flowing through Belarus and Ukraine to the Black Sea. The Dnieper is about 2,200 km long, it is the longest river of Ukraine and the fourth longest river in Europe, after the Volga, the Danube, and the Ural rivers.

Mount Hoverla is the highest peak of Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. It is 2061 metres high. Tourists can climb Hoverla and go camping in the Carpathian Mountains. They can live in a tent, cook food on a fire and go down the mountain river in a boat. It is so exciting! Tourists can also go on an excursion to a bull farm and eat delicious farmer cheese there.

Yalpuh is the largest natural freshwater lake in Ukraine, located in the southern part of Odesa Region. It covers an area of 149 km², has an average depth of about two metres, a maximum depth of 5.5 metres. Its northern shores are in Bolhrad District. It borders on Izmail District to its southwest and southeast. The largest town on Yalpuh's shores is Bolhrad at its northernmost point. Larger villages include Vynohradivka to the north, Kotlovyna to the west and Ozerne on its southeastern shore.

Buky Canyon is on the mountain river Tikych in Cherkasy Region. We can see its beautiful rocky cliffs and the last stream of Tikych river. Some sporty tourists go rock climbing, and rafting there, and others simply come to take good photos for Instagram. Anyway, if you want to be close to nature and enjoy warm summer days away from a big city, Buky Canyon is an ideal location.
