Prosedures І. Preparation for apprehension foreign speech 1. Greeting -Good morning, children! -Good morning, good morning. School has began. Good morning, good morning. It’s fun. Maths and English, Craft and Arts, All school subjects make smart. Useful lessons, noisy breaks, Happy faces, tasty cakes. All school books teach you new, teachers spend much time with you. Growing up with every day, Then your life will be OK.

2. Message on the subject and purpose of the lesson T: today we have an interesting topic of our lesson. It is “Sport”. We’ll do a lot of work today: write exercises, tell some information about different kinds of sports, do tasks and sing a song. The motto of our lesson is “There is no glory in practice, but without practice, there is no glory…” Let’s start our lesson.

3. Phonetic warm-up T: Children, there are some proverbs about sport. Let’s remember them. I’ll tell you the beginning and you’ll tell me the ending: A sound mind… Health is better… One apple a day…

ІІ. The basic part of the lesson Actualization of reference knowledge “Associative bush” T: pupils, with what words do you associate “sport”? Go to the blackboard and write it.

2. Introduction to foreign language atmosphereT: Answer to my questions: Do you go in for sport? What kind of sport do you go in for? Do you take part in sport competition? What is your favourite kind of sport? Do you like to play games or do you like to watch them? Who is your favourite sportsman? Who is the best sportsman in our class?

3. Homework check-up T: At home you must prepare a text about your favourite kind of sport. Let’s start.

4. Writing activities T:Look at the papers. Here we have different groups of sport. You must write kinds of sport to these groups. Winter sports Summer sports

5. Group work T: Now we’ll have a group work. I’ll give you cards with phrases. Your task is to make dialogues with them. Then you’ll act this dialogue.

6. Poems T: Dear children, who knows poems about sport?

8. A game T: Pupils listen some sentences and guess what is the kind of sport.

“True or False” My favourite sport is swimming. I don’t like to be in a water. I only began to swim 2 years ago. The coach taught me how to swim. I swim every weekend. My mother takes me to the swimming-complex once a week. I enjoy myself when I am in a water. I play with my older brother. We don’t like to splash water at each other. We also raced to see who can swim slower. I don’t like swimming. I hope I can take part in swimming competitions in future.
