Task 1. Read the text and say why the clown gets angry.

There’s a circus in town! There are dancers and acrobats there. My favourite are the clowns, they’re fun. This circus has a famous clown and his pet cow. The cow is black and white and has got big, brown eyes. (It’s not a real cow, there’s a person inside.) The clown keeps everything clean, but the cow makes everything dirty and messy. This makes the clown angry – it’s very funny! He always says to the cow: ‘Stop that, now!’ But the cow just looks at the clown. The clown’s hair is blue and curly. He wears a jacket that has all the colours of the rainbow. His trousers are green and very big. He’s got a small hat with a long arrow in it. Look, here’s a picture of the cow and the clown.
