My favourite season

1. There are 4 seasons in a year: winter, spring, summer and autumn.
2. In winter there’s ice and snow.
3. The temperature is low.
4. We wear warm clothes.
5. The days are very short.
6. In spring, snow melts and the flowers bloom.
7. The days get longer and warmer.
8. In summer, the temperature is high.
9. The days are long and hot.
10. It is a season of thunderstorms.
11. In autumn, the days get shorter and cooler.
12. The leaves are red, orange and brown.
13. There’s much rain in autumn and sometimes rivers flood.
14. My favourite season is summer because we don’t go to school, we have summer holidays.
