- to indentify new words,

- to write the names of school subjects correctly,

- to make sentences and questions,

MATERIALS: flash cards of school subjects

THE LESSON

1) WARM UP.Conversation about weather.

- What day is it ?

-What season is it ?

-Is it cold today ?

2) LEAD-IN

_Name the school subjects. The teacher shows the pictures, the pupils name the subjects.

3)GUESS THE SCHOOL SUBJECTS. USE THE OPTIONAL PHRASES.

-You count at this lesson.

- You learn new words at this lesson.

- You run and jump.

- You read books.

- You sing songs.

- You draw pictures.

5. a) Put THE WORDS IN THE CORRECT ORDER.

- On Monday-have got- maths.

- have you got –What- on Tuesday ?

- English- have you got- When?

-at –What-do-PE-you-do ?

b) Teacher asks questions about school subjects.

-What have you got on Monday ?

-When have you got English ?

-What do you do at PE ?

6) Match the school subjects with activities.
