Тема: Велика Британія та Україна.

Цілі уроку:compare two contries(вміти порівнювати дві країни)

Практична: формувати групи компетентностей:

-уміння вчитися: вирішувати запропоновані вчителем завдання

-інформаційну компетентність у залученні додаткової інформації;

-комунікативну компетентність: навчати висловлювати свої думки та порівнювати традиції та символи країн, вести навчальний діалог, через організацію групової роботи; створювати монологічні висловлювання;

-соціально-трудову компетентність шляхом виконання учнями самостійних завдань;

Освітня:

Розширити кругозір учнів про Велику Британію та Україну, їх географічне положення, символи тощо. Поглибити знання географії.

Виховна:

Виховувати толерантність, культуру спілкування та повагу до культур інших країн.

Розвивальна:

Розвивати мовленнєві здібності, пізнавальні процеси, увагу, пам'ять.

Тип уроку: комбінований

Обладнання: презентація, відео «Window to the UK» та «Ukraine», постери, наочні картки, підручник.

Teacher: During several lessons we were learning about The UK and Ukraine. Ukraine is our Motherland, the UK is the country that language we study.

Today we’ll sum up all information we got known. I decided to divide the class into 2 groups –The British and The Ukrainians.

 I decrypted the names of these countries. Do you agree with me?

Let’s start with geographical position of the countries. Watch the video “Window to Britain” and answer the questions.

• Who is the head of the country?
• What is the official language?

Teacher: We won’t watch a video about Ukraine. Answer the questions:

• Why is Ukraine our Motherland?
• Where is Ukraine situated?
• What is the capital of Ukraine?
• What is the highest mountain peak?
• What is the official language?
• What is the biggest river?

Teacher: What do you know about national symbols of these countries? What colour is the Ukrainian National Flag? What is the name of Ukrainian Coat of arms?

London is the capital of Great Britain. It stands on the river Thames. London is an ancient city. It was founded more than two thousand years ago.
   Its population  is over 9 million people. London is the biggest industrial and cultural centre of Great Britain.
   London is a great port. 

Traditionally London is divided into several parts: the City, the West End, the East End and the Westminster.
   In London one meets the past and the present, the old and  the modem. It is a city of contrasts. It has many wonderful places of interests.

 One of London's attractions is its parks. The most famous among them is the Hyde Park.
The best way to know London is to visit it.

Teacher: Read the statements and tell if it is true or false.
