Procedure

Good morning, pupils! How are you? Today we are having one of the last lessons in this term so you are going to write a test on READING in which we will check you understanding of the text. You will have to do 3 tasks after the text.

2.2  Warming up

Do you have any household chores at home? What are they? Which of them do you like? Which you don`t like?

Pupils are given the text DRAGON STEW (after Tom McGowen) and the worksheets.

  1.  Study these words. They will help you to understand the text better:

 

A duchess -a lady in the kingdom

A soldier - a guard in the kingdom

A recipe - instructions to make a dish

A contest – a competition

Royal - in the palace
