План-конспект уроку з англійської мови в  3  класі

Тема:  Professions

Мета: перевірити  рівень мовної та мовленнєвої компетенції учнів за темою; 

           узагальнити знання учнів з теми;

           розвивати навички самостійної роботи, вміння працювати у парах, в групах;

           розвивати вміння усного мовлення за темою;

           удосконалювати  навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення;  

           виховувати в учнів прагнення до вдосконалення, любов до праці та повагу до людей різних професій.

Обладнання: картки із завданням, тематичні картки, сигнальні картки, роздатковий матеріал.

Тип уроку: урок узагальнення знань, вдосконалення мовних навичок і вмінь з теми.

 

Хід уроку.

All professions are in need

and important they indeed

 

І. Вступна частина.

1. Привітання.

Hello, children! Sing the song “Two  kind doctors meet in a lane!”

How are you today?

We have many guests at our lesson.

Let’s greet them. (”Good morning”). Sit down, please. Get ready and let’s start our English lesson now.

2.Мовленнєва розминка

Answer the questions and take one letter, then go to the blackboard and fix the letter on it .

And now tell me, please

-What is your name?

-How old are you?

-Where are you from?

-Where do you live?

-How are you?

-What is the month?

What day is it today?

-Can you swim?

-Have you got a dog?

- Have you got a pet?

- What are you?

- What am I?

(Діти відповідають на питання вчителя, і в якості подарунка отримують одну із наступних літер: p, r, o, f, e, s, s, i, o, n, s.)

T: Look at these letters. Using them  make the word and read it.

3. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

What is the topic of our lesson? Can you guess?

T: Yes, we are going to review the topic “Professions”

Today we are going: to speak about professions; to read; to write, work in pairs and groups, ask & answer the questions, sing a song. We will play games and do some tasks.

II. Основна частина уроку.

  1. Повторення звуків.

T: Look and name the letters.

What is the letter, what is the sound?

Name the professions which start with this letter.

[d] - driver, doctor, designer,

 [t] – teacher

[f] - farmer, football player.

What is  the same sound  you hear in these words?

P: [  ]

T: Repeat the words with this sound: farmer, driver, teacher, doctor, engineer, singer, waiter.

You have got a list with professions. You should TICK the profession you hear. There is one extra picture with profession.

1. My grandfather helps an engineer to make new machines and fix old cars. He is a … (mechanic).

2. My granny makes TV programs. She is a… (journalist).

 

3. My mother likes children very much. She likes to read books, to write on the blackboard too. What is she? (teacher.)

4.  My father likes children very much, but he does not like to write on the blackboard. He goes to the hospital every day. What is he? (doctor.)

 

5. My uncle likes cars and buses. He likes to travel very much. He can drive a car, a bus too. What is he? (driver)

 

6. My cousin likes animals. Every day he goes to the farm and feed animals. What is he?  (farmer)

 

7. My aunt likes to make nice clothes for other people. What is she? (designer)

 

T: Let’s check up your answers.

Exchange your worksheets with your partner.

Take a red or a green pen. If the number of profession is true, put “+” , if no- put “-”.

What is the extra profession?

 

  1. Practice the active vocabulary of the topic

T.: Make 3 teams of 5 or 6. Name your team. On the desks you have got the words of professions and actions. Read the words and make up the sentences, then fix the sentences on the blackboard.

               Make  up  the  sentences

1. A designer                                        a) teaches pupils

2. An engineer                                  b) makes cakes

3. A teacher                                      c) treats people

4. A doctor                                        d) makes new clothes

5. A musician                                    e) makes new devices

6. A driver                                         f) works in the field

7. A cook                                           g) drives cars

8. A farmer                                        h) plays the piano

9. A mechanic            i) fixes old cars

10. An artist     j) draws pictures

11. A shop assistant   k) works in the shop

12. A pilot      l) flies a plane

 

T.: Look at the blackboard, please. Let’s read the sentences.

4. Фізкультхвилинка

So, we are very tired. Let`s sing a song and do the exercises.

Stand up, please!  Song “Shake, shake!”

5. Pair work. Розвиток діалогічного мовлення.

Т.: I have got a magic box. There are a lot of things. Look at these things and answer the questions.

I need a manager. Take out one thing from the box and ask the class:

 Whose … is it? What does the … do?

 (Коробочка з речами: мікрофон, лінійка, кішка, таблетки, качечка, половнік,  машинка, нитки)

6. Розвиток монологічного мовлення.

T.: Say 4 sentences about your parents and their work.

 What is your father? What does he do?

What is your mother? What does she do?

    

7. Play Time.

Make up two groups of 7 and let’s play.

Listen and say Yes or No, and correct the sentences.

 A Doctor teaches children. – No! A doctor helps sick people.

 A Dancer works in the hospital.

 A farmer works at school.

 Workers bake bread.

 Teachers have got a farm with many animals.

           A vet plays the guitar.

III. Заключна частина.

  1. Підведення підсумків.

Dear  children,  you  have coped  with  all  the  tasks  that  I  had  prepared for  today. All  of  you  were  active,  smart  and quick. Let’s  sum  up  the  results  of our  work.   

 There are different smiles on your desks.If you think you are good at this topic choose a HAPPY smile, if you are not so good at – take OK smile, if you are bad at this topic, pake SAD smile.  Choose one of them.

            Did  you  like  the  lesson? What  activity  did  you  like  most  of  all?

  1. Домашнє завдання.

Open  your  dairies  and  write  down  your  home task  for  the  next  lesson. Your  homework : Make up a 2 or 3 sentences what you want to be.
