Розробка уроку з англійської мови для 4 класу на тему "In the Rainforest"

Тема: In the Rainforest.

Очікувані результати: учні удосконалять лексичний матеріал з теми, розширять свій кругозір, розвинуть навички читання, слухання,письма та говоріння. Учні зможуть вживати нову лексику в усному та писемному мовленні, відпрацюють вживання структур: “Where is\are…?” It’s\They’re…”  та прийменники місця.

Обладнання: підручник “Islands 4”, робочий зошит, магнітофон, диск, лексичні картки, телевізор, відео “In the Rainforest”,  картки для гри, м’ячик .

Greeting

Good morning! I am glad to see you! How are you? Put this question to your classmates! (Учні кидають один одному м’ячик і запитують як у них справи).

• Now shut your eyes? Listen to the sounds and try to guess the theme of our today’s lesson.
• What sounds do you hear?  (sounds of  birds and waterfall). You are right. We are going to speak about nature and the theme is “In the Rainforest”.

The Main Part of the Lesson

Vocabulary Presentation

• Ex. 1p. 62. Look at the pictures. Where are our heroes? What are their names? Do you remember? What animals do you see there?
• Listen to the new words and repeat them.
• AB: Ex. 1 p. 58. Match the words with the pictures.
• Look at the cards and answer my question “What’s this?”
• SB: Ex. 3 p.62. Look at the pictures, listen to the sentences and say “Are they true or false”.
• Game  “Broken Telephone” . (Щоб поділити учнів на 2 команди, діти пишуть свої імена англійською мовою на листочка і кидають у коробочку. Вчитель дістає один листочок з іменем, далі цей учень витягує ще кілька листочків з іменами. Це і буде перша команда, всі,хто залишився – інша команда).

Слова для гри hut, rainforest, bridge, nest, waterfall, valley, mountain, vines. Для кожної команди свій набір карток. Один із учасників підходить до столу з картками (картки лежать словом донизу), витягує одну, читає і пошепки передає іншому, і т. д. Останній учасник з команди пише слово на дошці. Коли обидві команди написали всі слова, можна дати їм 1 хвилину на перевірку написаних слів. Виграє та команда, у якої найбільше правильних слів).
