TOPIC: “Faraday’s Experiments”

Мета:

– сформувати поняття явища електромагнітної індукції, індукційного струму експериментальним шляхом, ознайомити учнів з біографією видатного фізика-винахідника – Майкла Фарадея; ознайомлення з винаходами та відкриттями вченого; ознайомити учнів з новою лексикою, спонукати учнів до монологічного висловлювання;

– розвивати уміння і навички усного мовлення; сприяти формуванню в учнів уміння логічно та послідовно викладати власні думки, аналізувати, узагальнювати; самостійно будувати мовленнєву дію; розвивати навички дослідницької діяльності, уміння знаходити й відбирати необхідну інформацію з різних джерел;

– сприяти формуванню ціннісного ставлення до особистості; сприяти формуванню пізнавальної діяльності та розширенню інтересів учнів до вивчення предметів фізики та англійської мови; виховувати уважність, зібраність, спостережливість, толерантність.

At this lesson we’ll combine Physics and English. And I think each of you asks questions “Why Physics and English?”, “Is it possible?”. And that in some universities the teaching of such sciences as Maths, Physics and others is in English. So, let our lesson today be the first step to your studying at universities in English.

Currant is induced due to relative motion between the magnet and coil.

Deflection doesn’t change when the poles of the magnet are changed.

The direction of deflection shows the direction of flow of currant.

Faster motion of the magnet or coil causes faster deflection. And the induced currant is more.

When the magnet stops in the coil, the pointer deflects.
