Сценарій конкурсу для дівчаток 6-x класів «Miss English Learner»
Мета : - розвивати інтерес учнів вивчати іноземну мову ;
- стимулювати їх до більш глибшого вивчення лексики та граматики
англійської мови

- Dear friends! We are glad to see you! The girls of the 6th forms gathered here to prove that they like learning English and they know it well. And we are here to decide which of them deserves the title “Miss English Learner”
Now let me introduce the jury of our contest…( they may be the teachers of English or the senior students who know English well)
Contest number 1 “ My visit card”( the girls introduce themselves, their own hobbies, favourite holidays , subjects , lessons etc. - 10- 15 sentences)
Contest number 2 “ Word searcher” ( the girls are given the task to find the words on the topic “Sport”)

( champion, net, match, race, karate, skate, record, gymnastics, train, box, sailing, win). The winner is the girl which will find the greater number of the words during 3-5 minutes or will do it faster.
Contest number 3 ” Decipher” ( the girls are to unscramble the sentences )
e.g. 1. Like , boys, to , the, play, football.
2. went, the, we, to, yesterday, country.
3. shall , I , to, friends, party, birthday, my , invite, my.
4. are, my, having ,they, holidays, now?
5 .working, the, were, from, 3, 4, till, students, the , library, in, yesterday.
6.had, the, have, children, dinner, not, yet.
Contest number 4 “Free Style”( the girls are to demonstrate their talents in dancing, singing English songs, reciting English poems, telling jokes in English, acting out the short plays etc.)
Contest number 5 “ As many as possible” ( during 1or 2 minutes the girls are to call as many words as possible on the topic “ School” e.g. a gymnasium, an assembly hall, a History study, subject, sport ground, a laboratory, a canteen, etc.
After each contest the jury put the points for each of the girls. The girl with the greater number of points is presented the title “ Miss English Learner”. There may be other titles e.g. “ Miss English Grammar”, “Miss the Best Accent” , “Miss the Best Singer” and so on ( to encourage every participant of the event). The girls are also given the diplomas and the sweet prizes.
