Compare 1: Good morning everybody! You are welcome to our English party “All seasons are beautiful”. Today we are going to speak about seasons and months of the year. What do you know about months?

Pupil 1: January with cold is set,

February is chilly and wet,

Then August with corn is here,

For fruit September opens,

October sweeps the leaves.

These are big balls and lovely dolls,

Little bells and bright stars, too,

Red and orange, green and yellow,

Pink and violet, purple and blue.

The summer is over,

There’s frog in the garden

When I come to you,

Children eat apples

And go to school,

Do you know who I am?

Children: You are Autumn.

Autumn: Right you are thank you. I have com this holiday with my three sons. Who are they?

Children: September, October, November.

Autumn: My dear children come here.

(Autumn months appear on the stage. September wears a wreath of yellow-green leaves, October is decorated with colorful leaves, and November wears raincoat and fallen leaves on his legs).

Autumn Months: We are three brothers.

September: I am September, the youngest brother. Children like me. I bring them flowers, green leaves, apples, mushrooms and many warm days.

October: I am October, the second son. I like red, yellow and brown leaves. I bring a lot of them to kids. All children like me. I bring them a holiday – Halloween.

September: We want to tell you a story about “The North Wind and the Sun”

 The North Wind and The Sun

Story teller: A long time ago , the Sun and the North Wind argued who was the strongest in the world.

The Sun said: I am the most powerful because I can warm the whole world!

The North Wind argued: I am the most powerful because I can blow ships at the sea.

Story teller: They decided to test their strength. A man was travelling along then road. He was wearing a warm  coat and a scarf. The Sun and the Wind decided the strongest  was one who could get the travelling man  to take his coat off. The North Wind tried his power first.

The North wind: If I couldn’t do it, no one can!

The Sun: We’ ll see about that.

Story teller: The Sun taught the Wind an important lesson.

The Sun: Always be kind and warm to others!

Teacher : Робота з залом. If I say please you do an action. If I don’t say please , you  don’t do.
