Підтема: Вибір професії.
Мета: Сприяти розвитку вміння обговорювати якості та вміння, які потребують для різних професій. Сприяти розвитку вмінь усного мовлення і взаємодії. Сприяти розвитку готовності брати участь в іншомовному спілкуванні. Сприяти вихованню поваги до представників різних професії.
Компетентності: предметні - вміння розповідати про те, які якості характеру та вміння необхідні для різних професій, складати монологічне повідомлення про якості гарних співпрацівників , доповнювати речення, складати речення про роботи й професії;
ключові – оцінювати свої вміння й можливості ( ініціативність і підприємливість), виражати власні погляди, почуття і ставлення ( соціальна й громадянська компетентності), спілкуватися іноземною мовою та вчитися продовж життя.
Обладнання: зошит, підручник, картки з завданнями, презентація, відео, інтернет для голосвання.

Т: You know time flies and it won't be long when you finish your school. There will be some roads open before you: to continue your education in a colleague or in any lyceum, then to find a job or to join the army. It's up to you to decide. Your parents and teachers try to give you some advice. What will you be? Who helps you to choose your profession? The theme of our lesson concerns the world of profession and choosing the career. The epigraph of our lesson is :
“Every man is the maker of his own future”
(Richard Steele).

Т: All professions are important, All professions are necessary. You can choose any profession. Profession is a certain kind of work. Each type of man's work has components: the subject of labor, the purpose of labor, the means of labor and the conditions of activity. it is important for a person to know the conditions in which work flows. it will be about the classification of professions on the subject of labor proposed by a well-known psychologist, Academician E.A. T: We have so many professions but every professions requires special qualities. E.g. An accountant should be a hard-working and reliable person.

An accountant, a journalist, a nurse, a shop assistant, an estate agent, an architect, a police officer, a lawyer, a dentist, a judge.
T: The meanings of the Ukrainian words «професія та робота» have different English equivalents : Job, work, profession, occupation and career. What is the difference of these words?
Ps: The job is the work that you do regularly in order to earn money, especially when you work for a company or public organization.
Work is used in a more general way to talk about activities that you do to earn money, either working for a company or for yourself.
We use occupation to talk about the kind of work that someone usually does. Occupation is used mainly on official forms.
A profession is a kind of work for which you need special training and a good education.
Your career is the type of work that you do or hope to do for most of your life

T: When people choose their work, they pay attention to some things like flexible hours, a big salary, a friendly boss, long holidays, interesting task, a chance to develop your skills, big bonuses for good work, good relationships with other employees/customers, working for a big company.
