Тема уроку: Food. Cooking.

Мета:

• ознайомити учнів з новими лексичними одиницями та вчити вживати в усному і письмовому мовленні;
• повторити граматичний матеріал : злічувані та незлічувані іменники;
• практикувати учнів у вживанні a/an/some/any,
• розвивати навички читання, письма.

Обладнання: підручник з англійської мови (5 клас, Несвіт Алла) ,  тематичні картки, телефони, комп’ютер.

PROSEDURE

I.  INTRODACTION

1. Greeting.

T: Hello my  dear children.  Yaroslava, how are you?

P1: I am fine.  Arsen, how are you?

P2: I am good. Karina, how are you?

2. Aim

T: The topic of our lesson is “Food.  Cooking”. Today we’ll speak about cooking.

By the end of the lesson you will be able to:

• Recognize and understand new words and word-combinations;
• Read the text about mother’s birthday;
• Learn to write the recipe of dish;
• Use  a/an/some/any.

3. Warming up .  Vocabulary practice.

T:  Now your task is to guess what it is. For right variant you’ll get a  smile

1. A long green vegetable.
2. This is a fruit and color.
3. A big brown vegetable.
4. A long yellow fruit.
5. A big or small red fruit.

T: OK, good job. On the blackboard you can see QR-code, and  now

• take your mobile phones
• open the Camera, then position the phone so that the code appears on the screen,
• tap the notification that appears on the screen to go to the website and play the games.

II. MAIN PART

1. Grammar practice

T:  Children, say when do we use a/an/some and some/any?

T: Answer my questions:

  How do you celebrate your birthday?

  What does your mum cook for celebration?

   Do you help your mum?

2. Reading the text.

T: Today we’ll read the text about mother’s  birthday . Let’s read it

one by one.

3. Post-reading activity.

T: Do exercice 4, p.58.

5. Writing.

T: Chidren, the next task is to write out sentences from the text of ex.3,p.57 to make a recipe of French toast. (Виписати з тексту речення в яких розповідається про приготування  тостів, щоб скласти рецепт їх приготування).

3. Home work

T: You are given the cards with jumbled instructions  on how to make English tea, an omelette and a sandwich. Put the sentences into the correct order.
