1.Greeting Hello, children! I`ve prepared something interesting for you! Are you ready to start our lesson, say “Good morning!” and have a bit fun? Ready? Go! 2. Warm up Well, my dear, we are having a guest in our class and he doesn`t know you. Let`s help him to know us better (the teacher puts in the hand a picture “Mister Smile” and demonstrates the learners the example ‘speaking’ and replying questions: “What`s your name? – I`m _______”). |

1.Introducing vocabulary Well done! Now our guest knows everyone! -The world is beautiful and very colorful. So, it’s very important to know the names of colours. 2.Game« Colours » (Blue – jump, Yellow – raise your hands, Green - walk) 3.Using Flashcards (Teacher shows a colour quickly and hides it. Learners should name the colour etc.Children do this activity one by one.) Repeat the word several times together with your students. And then ask (E.g. "What colours do you know?) Very good! And now all together Red,blue,yellow,green,orange,pink,purple,brown,black,white,grey. 4.Summing-up this part.
5.Pair work ‘ Is it … ? ‘ Yes, it is. No. it isn’t. (Teacher gives cards with different colours to each child. Learners should show the colour to his / her neighbor and ask,’ Is it red?’ His / her neighbor should say, ‘Yes, it is. No, it isn’t. After that learners should a role reversal. Teacher goes around the classroom and monitors extensively.) 6. Grouping Now let`s play a game. (the teacher sticks colorful cards on the board). Stand up, please. We`ll make two groups. I`ll name the color and your task will be to reach the board as quickly and carefully as possible and to stamp the announced color with the help of these toy-hammer. Then you come back to your group and pass the turn to the other student. I`ll watch the score. Let`s try first. 7.Thanks .Take your seats, please. I also have something interesting for you. Look! This is a magic box. There is something inside it. I will show you the things and ask you, children, about its color: “What color is ____?” and will answer: “It`s _______”.
