Очікувані результати: актуалізація лексичного матеріалу; учні складають сенкани; представляють діалоги, представляють власні мультимедійні презентації про молодіжні субкультури; обговорюють їх; переглядають презентацію про герундій та виконують завдання.
Хід уроку:
T: Good morning, how`s life?
Today we are going to speak about youth subcultures.
You are adolescents and this topic is interesting for you, I think. Some of you may belong to a subculture. Somebody doesn`t care. We`ll see. To warm up let`s recite our poem first.
A Child`s Wish
I want to live and not to die!
I want to laugh and not to cry!
I want to feel the summer sun.
I want to sing when life is fun.
I want to fly into the blue.
I want to swim as fishes do.
I want to stretch out friendly hands
To all the young of other lands.
I want to live and not to die!
I want to laugh and not to cry!
I will give you 5 minutes.
Учні пишуть сенкани, потім зачитують їх.
T: Look at the pictures of the representatives of some youth subcultures. What do they look like? What do you feel looking at them?
T: Read the text of ex 3 p 12-13. Pay attention to the words and phrases in bold. Do you understand their meaning? Can you give the synonyms?
T: Now I want to listen to your dialogues about youth subcultures.
Complete the sentences with the gerunds formed from the infinitives in brackets:
T: Whose presentation was interesting for you? Why?
T: You have worked very well today. I do like your presentations about youth subcultures and your dialogues are very interesting as well. Thanks a lot!
