План-конспект уроку на тему:

“Weather. Seasons”

Мета:

• повторити вивчені у попередніх класах лексичні одиниці та ввести нові до теми, формувати навички читання з повним розумінням прочитаного;
• продовжувати формувати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення;
• розвивати вміння учнів спілкуватись про погоду з опорою на вивчену лексику, розвивати пам'ять, мислення, уяву;

Обладнання: Ноутбук, мультімедійний проектор, лексичні картки до теми

Хід уроку

І.Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

• Привітання:

Good morning children! Nice to see you today! How are you? (I am fine, thank you. And you?) Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What day is it today?

• Повідомлення теми та мети уроку:

Today we are going to speak about weather and seasons (слайд 1). We’ll practice our skills in speaking and reading, listening and writing. I wish you to be calm and to work well.

First of all answer my questions: (слайд2)

1. How many seasons are there in a year?
2. How many months are there in a season?
3. How many months are there in a year?
4. What seasons do you know?
5. What season is it?

Учні читають за вчителем слова: winter, spring, summer, autumn

T: And now look at the board and read the poem. Let's try to translate it!(слайди 5-9)

T: Each season has its own months. We'll check up your hometask and know what months each season has. Look and say! (слайди 10-13)

There are 3 months in summer. They are June, July and August.

And autumn months are: September, October and November.

Winter months are: December, January, February.

Spring month are: March, April, May.

1. Читання/ Аудіювання

Listen to the teacher and guess what season is described. (слайд 16-18)

• In this season the days are short and the nights are long. It often snows. The trees are white with snow. Some animals sleep. It is cold. But children like this season because they can make snowmen and sledge, ski, skate and play snowballs.

• It is a very beautiful season. The weather is often warm. It is not hot. There is a lot of water in the streets because the snow is melting. Birds come back and sing their beautiful songs. The trees and grass are green. The days become longer.

• It is hot. The trees and grass are green. There are a lot of flowers in the parks and gardens. They are blue, yellow, red and pink. Children can play outdoors all day long. They have the longest holidays.

• It isn’t a warm season. Sometimes it is cold and foggy. It often rains. The trees are colorful. Their leaves are green, yellow, orange, red and brown. There are a lot of fruit and vegetables so it is a tasty season. Children begin to go to school.
