Aim:
Objectives: by the end of the lesson pupils will be able
to use the words from the topic “Weather”;
to make up dialogues;
to compare the weather in different parts of the world;
to answer the questions about the weather;
to work in pairs to solve a problem;
to use The Future Simple and the structure “to be going to…”
to describe the weather using prompts.

Procedure
T: Good morning, dear children! Glad to meet you. How are you today?
P: I am well. Thank you.
T: That's nice. You are in a good mood and the weather is nice today.
We are participants of the popular TV show “Head and tails” or otherwise “Obverse and reverse”. We are going to travel around Europe. That’s why we will speak about the weather in Europe. During our lesson we will
revise new words
make up dialogues
recite the poem
answer the questions
play games
sing a song
do exercises
describe the weather in Europe
At the end of the lesson you’ll get golden cards
T: And what poem about the weather do you know? Can you recite it? Repeat
after me all together. But pay attention to the sounds [w], [v], [r].

Draw a happy face if you like the weather. If you don’t like it - draw a sad face and neutral – if it doesn’t matter to you.

Change the worksheets with your partner. Tell what the weather does he or she like or don’t like.
Game “The Merry-go-round” Група ділиться на дві частини-перша частина стає в коло, кожен з учнів тримає в руках малюнок з даної теми; друга частина утворює зовнішнє коло, стаючи обличчям в середину. За командою вчителя внутрішнє коло ставить питання “What is the weather like today?» a учні зовнішнього кола відповідають, дивлячись на малюнок. Після цього учні зовнішнього кола переміщаються за годинниковою стрілкою, учні внутрішнього кола лишаються стояти на місцях.
