УРОК № 8

Тема: « Хто ти? Молоде покоління.»

Підтема: «Молодіжні течії.»

Тема:

• Практична: розвиток рецептивних навичок читання та опрацювання тексту; введення та активізація лексичного матеріалу з даної теми; закріплення нового лексичного матеріалу в писемному мовленні; вдосконалення навичок монологічного та діалогічного мовлення.

• Виховна: виховувати доброзичливе ставлення до оточуючих та повагу і почуття толерантності по відношенню до їх вибору; сприяти прагненню бути добрішим, людянішим та готовим завжди прийти на допомогу.

•  Розвиваюча: розвиток операцій мислення : аналізу, синтезу, порівняння та узагальнення; розвивати пам’ять, увагу, кмітливість, пізнавальний інтерес;  розширювати загальний і філологічний кругозір.

Обладнання: комп’ютер, підручник О.Д. Карп’юк «Англійська мова» 9 клас, аудіо додаток до підручника, малюнки з ілюстраціями різноманітних молодіжних течій, іграшковий мікрофон.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Хід уроку:

І Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення:

1.Greeting:

T: Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you!

Ch.: Good morning, teacher! I’m glad to see you too!

2.Theme, aims and warming - up:

T: Look at the pictures and say what you see. (The pupils look through the images of different youth groups). Try to predict the theme of the lesson.

Ch.: The theme of the lesson is Youth Groups.

T: Right you are! Let’s analyse the new vocabulary which we need for today.

1. Presenting New Vocabulary ( p.27):

T: At home you’ve come across some new words in the text, let’s analyze and write them down:

• hang-out [ˊhæŋaʊt] – місце для тусування;
• outfit [ˈaʊtfɪt] – наряд;
• keep up with the latest trends [trend] – іти в ногу з останніми тенденціями моди;
• software [ˈsɒftweə] - програмне забезпечення;
• victim [ˈvɪktɪm] – жертва;
• to grab [ɡræb] – ухопити;
• to irritate [ˈɪrɪteɪt] – підтрунювати, дражнити, дратувати
• casual [ˈkæʒʊəl] – випадковий, недбалий;

• fascinated [ˈfæsɪneɪtɪd] -  зачарований;
• picky [ˈpɪki] – прискіпливий, причепливий, вимогливий;
• ingenious [ɪnˈʤiːnjəs] – винахідливий, геніальний;
• nerd [nɜːd] – лох, зануда, ботан.

2. Reading (p.27-29, ex.1- 3):

• Pre-reading:

T: Look at the pictures and match them with the names of different teenage groups.

• Reading:

T: Read the descriptions of different teenage groups and match them with the right names from Task 1. (pp.27-29)

1. 3 - high-flyer;
2. 1 – computer geek;
3. 7 – hip hopper;
4. 2 – prep;
5. 6 – athlete.

• Post-reading:

T: Work in pairs to answer the following questions about the teenage groups.

1 Who doesn’t really care about clothes? (computer geeks & preps)

2 Who enjoys dancing? (hip hoppers)

3 Who is fashion-conscious? (high – flyers)

4 Who is very responsible about schoolwork? (preps & computer geeks)

5 Who spends a lot of time in a gym? (athletes)

3. Writing (p.30, ex.4(a):

T: Work in groups of five.

1. Copy the profile grid below. Each student reads one description again and fills in the profile for a particular teenage group. You come across someone’s address or an old photo.

 

Teenage group:	Computer geeks	Preps	High- flyers	Hip-hoppers	Athletes
Looks and clothes:	neat and casual clothes	don’t care about clothes	fashion-conscious	baggy clothes and caps	jogging suit
School:	they are brilliant at science subjects, especially Maths and Physics	they are very hard-working and are always teacher’s pets	they don’t generally have problems with school	so-so, they know a lot about politics and global problems	have a lot of schoolwork to catch with
Hobbies and interests:	computers, skateboarding or skaters	reading	they have no special interests	graffiti as an art form on the wall, basketball, rap battles – contests in dancing	sports
