Тема: Food and drinks. Healthy eating.

Мета: Активізувати лексику з теми «Food and drinks».

 Практикувати вживання злічуваних і незлічуваних іменників.

 Розвивати навички аудіювання, говоріння, читання. Виховувати прагнення до здорового способу харчування та підвищити мотивацію вивчення мови.

 Сприяти естетичному вихованню учнів.

Обладнання: підручник , аудіо та відео записи, пректор, комп’ютер, роздатковий матеріал .

                                                        Хід уроку:

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання учнів.  Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Т: Today’s topic is « Food and drinks». You’ll practise the words on the topic and using of countable and uncountable nouns.

2.  Warming up.

Work in groups. Write down the words of your category and create your own mind map.

Учні обирають одну із тем «Vegetables» або «Fruit». Вони мають за дві хвилини записати якомога більше слів. Група яка напише більшу кількість слів стає переможцем.

II. Основна частина уроку.

3. Тренування учнів у вживанні злічуваних і незлічуваних іменників.

1). Повторення вживання а/an , the, some, any, much, many, a lot of.

T:  Find mistakes in the sentences  with countable and uncountable nouns, explain the usage of them on the base of rules. (Додаток №1)

2). Describe the pictures of famous photographer Carl Warner. His well-known «Foodscapes». Compare them using some, any, many, much, a lot of.

4. Work in pairs. Watch a short video film «School lunches  around the world» and do the quiz. (Додаток №3)

5. T: We have watched the film about school lunches in 20 countries of the world and now we will speak and compare lunches in Great Britain, France, Japan and the USA.

 Match 1-16 in the photos with words in the box then listen and check. Open your student’s books ex. 1 page 52.  (Додаток №4)

6. Look at the school lunches in the photos and read the text. Which lunch is very healthy and which is very unhealthy? Listen and check.

7. Listen to the programme again and choose the correct answers. (Ex.5p.52)

8. Speaking. Answer the questions.

What do you eat for lunch at school?

How often do you eat junk food?

What healthy and unhealthy food do you eat?

What’s your favourite meal?

6. Homework.

You have to create an ideal school lunch for Ukrainian schoolchildren. Don’t forget about healthy and unhealthy food.
