Тема: “Food: vegetables and fruit”.
Мета уроку: Практична : Відпрацювати вживання лексики по темі"Їжа: овочі та фрукти" в усному мовленні та на письмі.
Формування навичок монологічного мовлення, сприйняття на слух іншомовних слів та виразів, повторення англійських назв овочів та фруктів, їх опису. Відпрацювання вживання граматичних структур I like, I don't like...на письмі та при усному мовленні... Формування навичок роботи з текстом ( читання мовчки та вголос, складання короткого опису, знаходження в тексті потрібної інформації), роботи в групах.
Формування розвитку творчих здібностей, фантазії, уяви учнів.
Освітня : Розширити знання учнів про будову іноземної мови, культуру та традиції.
Розвиваюча: Розвивати вміння працювати в різних режимах навчання, розвивати загальнокультурні вміння.
Виховна : Виховувати ціннісне ставлення до культури інтелектуальної праці, повагу до людей та одне до одного, почуття дружби, культуру поведінки за столом
Обладнання :. У дітей на партах роздаткові картки, , картки-загадки з описом овочів та фруктів.
I. Warm -up
1.T. Good morning, dear children. We have an unusual lesson today. We will work in groups. We have two groups of children. Today we will speak, read, write about food, about your favourite vegetables and fruit. As usual we begin our lesson using phonetical exercise. Let's speak with me:
My garden
Near our house you can see a garden.
There are many bushes and trees all around
Apricots, peaches, plums and grapes
Oranges, apples, cherries and pears.
Near our house you can see a garden
There are many vegetables all around
Carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas
Onions, potatoes, cabbages, beets.
2. Look at the blackboard. You see some new words for you. They help us during the lesson. Repeat after me:

long соковитий
sour кислий
bitter овальний
One of you must match English and Ukrainian words.
II. Checking a hometask.
1. T. Today we are having much work. We are going to remind the whole topic. Each group had its task to prepare riddles about vegetables and fruit . Listen to them and guess, what's this?
- This is a vegetable. This is not a sweet vegetable. It is long. It's colour is green. You can eat it in a salad. What is it? ( A cucumber)
- This is a vegetable. This is a sweet vegetable. It is long. Its colour is red or orange. You can eat it in a salad or soup. What is it? (a carrot)
- This is a fruit. This is a sweet fruit. It is round. Its colour is red or yellow or green. What is it? ( an apple)
- This is a fruit. This isn't a sweet fruit. It isn't round. It isn't long. It's oval. It's colour is yellow. You can have it in your tea. What is it? ( a lemon)
- This is a vegetable. This is usually a round vegetable. Its colour is red. You can eat it in a salad. What is it? ( a tomato)
- This is a fruit. This is sweet and juicy fruit. It is small and round. It grows on trees. What is it? ( a peach)
- This is a vegetable. This is not a sweet vegetable. It is big and round. Its colour is green. You can eat it in a salad. What is it? ( a cabbage)
III. 1.Speaking.
On the blackboard you see some fruit and vegetables. You must say for us about your likes and dislikes, using structures on the blackboard:
I like...because
I don't like.... ...because
I love... ...because
I hate.... ...because
I prefer.... ...because
2. Listening
Now, you listen to me attentively and finish the sentences with the words:

a spoon
- We eat soup with....( a spoon)

- We eat meat with.....( a fork and a knife )
- We cut cakes with.....( a knife)
3. Ok, now it's time for relaxing. Physical exercise
Mom makes a chocolate cake.

4. Writing.
You have some words on your desks. They are 3 sentences for each group. Your task will be rewrite these sentences, putting the words in the correct order:

2) don't/ fish/ like/I/all/at

Діти по черзі записують слова в правильному порядку, щоб утворити речення на дошці, а потім переписують всі речення у зошит.
5. Reading.
Now you have a text on your desk. Let's read good rules to remember and translate them into Ukrainian.
Good rules to remember
1. Always wash your hands before eating
2. Don't talk with your mouth full
3. If you eat meat, eat it with a fork and a knife
4. Have a fork in your left hand and a knife in your right hand
5. Never put a knife into your mouth
6. Never eat with a spoon those things that you must eat with a fork
7. When you have tea or coffee, don't put your spoon into the cup or glass. Put the spoon only on the saucer
8. Don't stand up when other people are still eating
9. Always remember to say "Please" when you ask somebody to pass you something
10. Always remember to say "Thank you" when somebody passes you something.
6. Ok, now it's time for relaxing again.

7. Now let's play your favourite game. One of you sits on the chair looking on the class, next writes the word, that I show you, and the last describes the word for your friend but don't name it.

So, everyone of you has worked very hard . You will be very active and clever, that's why I have good marks for you.
