Materials: posters with congratulation phrases, flashcards with different animals, a set of small cards with parts of body, a poster with a plan for description the animals, ‘Fence of Thougths’( for summarizing).
Procedure
1.Greeting
T: Hello, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you!
How are you?
Ch: I am OK!
T: How are you?
Ch: I am great!
T: How are you?
Ch: I am cool!
T: How are you?
Ch: I am good!
T:Form a great circle. Children, congratulate your friend with your hand on the left.
Use the phrases on the poster.
Ch: Good morning! - Good day! –Hello! –Hi!
2. Warming up
T: Children! Let’s listen to the song and do the actions.
( The children are singing and doing actions)

4.Practice
1.Revising the names of animals.
T: Let’s revise the names of the animals. Look at the blackboard and answer my questions: What animal is this?
(There are some pictures on the blackboard)
giraffe – elephant – snake – zebra
monkey –parrot – lion – crocodile

T: Listen to the animal sounds and guess the animals ( Track U5 L 1-2 from the course book) Which animal is it?
(Answers: elephant, lion, parrot, monkey, snake)
2. Revising the parts of the body
T: And now, let’s have a little rest. So, please, stand up. We are going to do our exercises and sing a song
Head and shoulders, knees and toes
And eyes, and ears, and mouth, and nose
T: This is dog’s mouth with a hole. Your task is to feed the dog.
You take the flashcard one by one, name the flashcard and threw it into the dog’s
mouth.
3. Description of animals.
T: Look at the animals on the board. Listen to their description and guess their names.
