Обладнання: комп’ютер, мультимедійна дошка, додатки з завданнями, підручник, ілюстрації з теми «Будинок».

Мета уроку:

Практична: розвиток навичок монологічного мовлення, аудіювання та читання, активізація лексичного і граматичного матеріалу в усному мовленні, розвиток навичок опису будинку, квартири, кімнати.

Навчальна: повторення лексичних одиниць з теми «Дім, квартира», закріплення навичок використання граматичної структури there is/there are (стверджувальна, заперечна та питальна форми) та прийменників місця у мовленні.

Розвиваюча: розвиток пам’яті та уваги.

Виховна: виховання любові до свого дому, цікавості до життя інших людей.

ХІД УРОКУ

I. Початок уроку:

1) Організаційний момент, привітання.

Вчитель: Good morning! Sit down, please. I am glad to see you. Is anybody absent today? How are you? What is the weather like today?

2) Повідомлення теми уроку.

Вчитель: Despite the cold weather, it`s warm here and we are ready for successful work. Look at the pictures. How do you think what we are talking about today? (About houses and home)

Look at the screen. Let`s guess the topic of our lesson. (Слайд 2)

Учні: My home is my castle.

3) Мовленнєва зарядка (Слайд 3)

Let`s train our tongues.

This is my house

The windows are clean

Project “What a house!”

Your home task for today was to make a project in groups about famous houses from over the world. Let`s meet the first group.

“White house” and “Windsor Castle”

Вчитель: Both groups are brilliant. Well done!

Вчитель: Very well! So, today we are talking about our home. Do you know any proverbs about home? (Слайд 5-6)

Учні: 1) East or West home is best.

2) There is no place like home.

3) Home is where the heart is.

4) My home is my castle.

Вчитель: Nice. How do you understand it? What is the difference between a house and home?

Учні: House- is a type of building.

Home- is a place where people live.

Вчитель: What does home mean for you?

Учні: Home is a place where we can rest, enjoy good films, it is a place, where our parents are, where we can play with our pets. We can do our favourite things: play games, watch TV, read books, eat our favourite food.

II. Основна частина.

Активізація лексичного матеріалу.

Вчитель: Do you live in a flat or a house? Is your house/flat big or small? How many rooms are there?

Вчитель: That’s really good. Now let`s revise the words. Your task is to guess the name of the room. (Слайд 7-16)

1) We usually cook breakfast, dinner here. – It’s a kitchen!

What can you find in the kitchen? – A dishwasher, a sink, a fridge, a cooker, a table, chairs.

2) We can watch TV and rest in this room. – It’s a living room.

What can you find in the living room? – A sofa, a bookcase, armchairs, cushions, flowers, TV

3) You can sleep here. – It’s a bedroom.

What can you find here? – A bed, a lamp, a computer, a wardrobe, a bookcase.

4) We can have a shower here. – It’s a bathroom.

5) We eat breakfast, dinner here. – It`s a dining room.

6) You use them when you want to get another floor. – They`re stairs.

7) It is an underground part of the house. – It`s a basement.

8) It is a room at the top of a building. – It`s an attic.

9) It has trees, grass, flowers. What is it? – It`s a garden.

10) It`s a place where we keep our cars. – It`s a garage.

2) Розвиток навичок аудіювання (Слайд 17)

Вчитель: Excellent! Now, let’s learn about Tina`s new flat. She` from Britain.

Open your Student`s book p. 56 ex.2.

Listen to Tina talking abut her new flat and answer the questions. Choose picture a or b.
Listen again and write T for true and F for false sentences.

Tina`s house hasn`t got a lift. (F)
You can see a nice garden from the kitchen window. (T)
Tina`s bedroom is not nice. (F)
Tina`s bedrooms is small. (F)
Tina can`t play loud music in her room. (T)

5) Групова робота.

Розвиток навичок монологічного мовлення. Активізація прийменників місця та лексики за темою меблі, частини будинку. Закріплення конструкцій there is/ there are.

Вчитель: Let`s make 3 groups of 4. Now, you have to design your own room. Don`t forget about the construction there is/ there are.

Учні розробляють власний дизайн кімнат в групах протягом 3-5 хв. За допомогою двостороннього скотчу прикріпляють паперові меблі на листочок, де намальована кімната. Після цього підходять до дошки і презентують свою кімнату, описуючи її.

Вчитель: Well done! Look at the picture. Is this room modern? Is it comfortable? Do you like it?

III. Підведення підсумків уроку.

Вчитель: We’ve done a lot today, let’s sum up. What’s the home for us? What words can we associate with this word?
