Хід уроку

І. Початок уроку.

Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання

T: Good morning! Nice to see you!

Ps: Nice to see you too!

2. Бесіда з черговими.

• Who is on duty today?
• Who is absent today?
• What day is it today?
• What date is it?

3. Фонетична зарядка.

T: Children, let’s warm our tongues and train some English sound. We’ll sing a song “I like food”.

4. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T: Today we are going to travel to Britain and learn about traditional British food. We’ll learn what British people usually eat in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening, revise countable and uncountable nouns and compare traditional British and Ukrainian food.

ІІ. Основна частина.

1. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Повторення лексичного матеріалу – Vocabulary Warmer.

T: Before we start our trip let’s remember some English proverbs about food. One pupil should say the first part of the verb and another one have to finish it.

• An apple a day… keeps a doctor away.
• Eat to live… not live to eat.
• I am as hungry… as a hunter.
• Appetite comes… with eating.

2. Аудіювання – Listening Comprehension

T: The fist our stop is at the cinema. You’ll watch a short film “Food in Britain”. After watching this episode you have to make a test in your test paper, which is in front of you.

Учні переглядають відео і виконують завдання.

T: What traditional English food do you know now? What food do you like and don’t like to eat?

3. Читання – Reading   

T: We’ll move to the next stop. It’s reading. Open your books at page 65 exercise 1. You are to read the text and fill in the gaps with necessary words.

T: Ok, children, our next task is to agree or disagree with the statements. Let’s do ex. 2 p.65

4. Фізична та мовленнєва розминка – Physical relaxation

T: Pupils, you work very hard and it’s high time to relax a little bit and do some exercises and sing a song “I can eat a lot”

5. Повторення граматичного матеріалу: злічувані та незлічувані іменники – Grammar revision

T: Let’s work in your copybooks. Open them and write down the date and class work. At the blackboard you can see a task. Use “a (an)” with countable words and “some” with uncountable nouns.

6. Усне мовлення – Speaking

T: And at last we are at the end of our journey. We have one more atop left. It’s oral practice. Two of our pupils had home task to prepare a report about traditional English and Ukrainian food.

T: Kids, the lesson is coming to the end, so open your daybooks and write down your home task.
