Тема. Shopping.

Підтема. Shopping in London.

Практична мета. Закріпити вживання лексичного матеріалу теми «Shopping»; навчати учнів вести діа­лог на задану тему; навчати учнів монологічного ви­словлювання в рамках комунікативної задачі уроку; навчати учнів читання з метою повного розуміння зміс­ту прочитаного; навчати учнів сприймати англійську мову під час прослухування.

Освітня мета. Формувати уявлення учнів про традиції та звички англійців під час здійснення покупок; розширювати лінгвістичний кругозір учнів.

Розвивальна мета. Розвивати в учнів аудіофонетичні навички; розвивати навички вирішування комунікативних задач уроку в заданих ситуаціях для спілкування; формувати здатність та го­товність учнів здійснювати безпосереднє спілкування на уроці на задану тему; розвивати оперативну та вер­бальну пам'ять, увагу, комунікативну уяву; розвивати навички учнів в аудіюванні з метою здобуття необхід­ної інформації.

Виховна мета. Прищеплювати вміння поводитися в магазині; формувати в учнів культуру спілку­вання; виховувати ввічливість; прищеплювати учням уміння роботи в парах і колективі; заохочувати учнів до творчого підходу до роботи на уроці.

Обладнання уроку. Підручник, смартборд,  презентація “Shopping in London”, роздаваль­ний матеріал (HO1), (HO2), (HO3), (HO4), (HO5), “британські гроші”, продукти харчування.

Тип уроку. Урок розвитку навичок і вмінь.

1. Warm- up

1. A chain dialogue. Guess something incredible.

S1. I bought a pretty crocodile.

S3. Yesterday I went shopping.

2. Look at the table and match the departments to things you can buy there.

3. Make up a shopping list of your favourite items of food.

2. Speaking

Ask and answer three different questions about shopping from the opposite team.

       Listen to the dialogue and answer the questions:

• Oh, hello, my dear friend! Where are you going?
• I am going shopping to the nearest supermarket ATB.
• Do you like shopping?
• Frankly speaking, I hate it!
• Really? But why?
• Because I always have to buy a lot of food! Milk, potatoes, onions, sugar and many other things.
• Oh, my God! And I always buy a lot of fruits: oranges, apples, bananas and lemons! By the way, do you like lemons?
• Oh, yes, I do! But I don’t like oranges. And what about you?
• As for me, I hate onions. Ok, see you later! Say hello to your husband! Bye!
• Good bye!

5. A role-play

       Shopping in Britain

The pupils of each team take the shopping baskets and buy food from different food groups having twenty pounds for purchasing.

Each team must explain their choice and explain why this or that product is useful or not.

6. Grammar Practice: Past Continuous

Watch the video and choose the actions in Past Continuous, which were mentioned there.
