Тема уроку: Опис зовнішності людини

Мета: навчальна – повторення і узагальнення лексики та граматичних одиниць мовленнєвої теми «Зовнішність», тренування учнів в усному мовленні; розвиваюча – розвивати навички усного монологічного мовлення, аудіювання, уміння описувати зовнішність людини; розвивати мислення, увагу, творчі здібності учнів; виховна – виховувати почуття дружби, уміння працювати у команді.

Засоби навчання: роздатковий матеріал, ноутбук з екраном, комп’ютер з виходом в інтернет
Хід уроку:

 Початок уроку – 5 хв.

1. Організаційний момент. (1хв.)

Teacher: Good morning, pupils. I am glad to see you at our English lesson.

Pupils: Good morning, good morning,

            Good morning to you,

            Good morning, good morning,

             I am glad to see you. (Учні займають свої місця у класі.)

2. Бесіда з черговим. ( 2 хв.)

1) Who is on duty today?

2) Who is absent today?

3) What day is it today?

4) What season is it now?

5) What is the weather like today?

6) How are you today?(питання до всіх учнів)

3. Мовленнєва  зарядка.(2 хв.)  Учні разом вголос читають вірш «My sister».(Текст вірша представлено на мультимедійному екрані)

My sister is pretty, my sister is nice.

She has a straight nose and beautiful eyes.

Her lips are rosy, her cheeks are rosy too.

Her hair is curly, her eyes are blue.

Her face is round, her ears are small.

I love my dear sister best of all, best of all!

4. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

Teacher:  Children, today we’ll review and recollect all the words you know on the topic ”Appearance”. We’ll have an interesting and exciting competition between three teams.  And  at the end of the lesson we’ll find out who knows this topic best of all.

Основна частина уроку – 35 хв.
5. Розподіл учнів на три команди. Кожному учневі пропонується обрати зірочку, сонечко чи хмарку на вибір. Відповідно формуються три команди. За кожне вдало виконане завдання команди отримують по три бали.

Teacher: Now we have three teams. They are “Stars”, “Suns”, “Clouds”. Your task will be to do all the exercises as good as you can. Try to do all your best to win the competition and to prove your best knowledge. For each successfully done task the team will get three points.

6. Виконання завдань змагання. Робота з розвитку чотирьох мовленнєвих компетенцій (аудіювання, читання, говоріння, письмо).
 

Завдання 1. Назвати слова, що стосуються теми «Зовнішність» (кожна команда по черзі називає словo; на роздуми дається 5 секунд, далі черга переходить до іншої команди; яка команда назве найбільше слів за три хвилини, та отримує 3 бали, інші – по 1 балу).

Teacher: The first task will be to name all the words you know on the topic ”Appearance”. Let’s start team by team. Remember that time is limited – you have only three minutes for all the teams. The winner will get three points.

Завдання 2. Усно описати зовнішність одного учасника зі своєї команди, інша команда повинна вгадати, кого описували. Команда придумує розповідь разом за чотири хвилини, можна записати коротко, потім команда обирає того, хто буде озвучувати розповідь – опис. За вдало виконане завдання команди отримують по 3 бали.

Teacher: Your next task will be to describe the appearance of your classmate – the member of your team. You are allowed to write down your story, but you’ll have only 4 minutes to discuss and to prepare a story. Then you’ll have to choose one man to tell your story. Your opponents must guess whose description it is. If your answer is good you’ll get 3 points.

The example of the pupils’ story: This is a schoolboy. He is tall, slim. He has blue eyes, a straight nose, thin cheeks. He is fair – haired and curly. He has thick rosy lips. This boy has a nice smile. He is handsome. He is a real friend. Guess, who is this boy?

Завдання 3. Кожна команда отримує «секретний документ», у якому пропущені певні літери. Завдання команди – правильно і швидко вставити пропущені букви, вгадати, про якого героя іде мова.

Teacher: Your next task will be to fill in the gaps in the “secret document”. You’ll have to guess the name of the hero.

Let’s introduce you a famous character of the popular film. This is a boy. He studies at the School of Magic. He is a dark – haired tall and slim boy. His skin is a little bit tanned. His hair is not long but thick and straight. A boy has got a small straight nose, rosy plump cheeks, brown thick eyebrows. His face is oval and nice. The boy’s ears are small. He has got thin rosy lips. His eyes are large, dark and clever. He is good, smart, just and friendly person. He’s got spectacles. He is a handsome and kind boy. Who is this boy??? Завдання 4. Прослухати речення українською (їх читає вчитель), знайти відповідник у англійському тексті з попереднього завдання. Завдання на правильність і швидкість. За правильно прочитане речення – 3 бали (враховується, яка команда перша підніме руку).

Teacher: The task is to listen to the Ukrainian sentences and to find their equivalents in the text about Harry Potter. Try to raise your hand faster than the other team – and you will get the right to answer. You’ll get three points for each right sentence. Let’s start!

Завдання 5. Усі команди отримують набір із паперовими носиками, обличчями, волоссям, щічками, очками, предметами одягу. Учні слухають аудіозапис і на ватмані наклеюють портрет героя за прослуханою розповіддю.

Teacher: Now we are going to be artists and make a portrait of the popular character. Listen to the story and make an application on the sheet of paper. If your team create the right portrait you will have three points.

The story for listening: This is a girl. She has an oval face. Her skin is pale. She has got large blue eyes. Her eyebrows are thin and brown. The girl has got long curly hair. It is blue. She has got a little turned – up nose. Her ears are small and rosy. The girl has got rosy plump cheeks. She has a nice red ribbon in her hair. She is a very pretty girl. What’s her name?

Команди представляють свої роботи. На екрані з’являється зображення Мальвіни.

Завдання 6. Команди отримують завдання з питаннями про зовнішній вигляд людини. Потрібно поставити слова у запитаннях у правильному порядку.

Teacher: Your next task is to put the words in the right order to make questions about the appearance of people. You must be the first if you want to be the winner. Work like a real team!

Завдання 7. Виконання тестового завдання з теми «Зовнішність» з використанням ресурсів інтернетy. За кожен комп’ютер сідає по два учні.

Завдання: Прослухати або прочитати опис 6 різних людей і знайти портрет  людини, опис якої звучав. За правильно виконане завдання – по три бали кожній команді.

7. Оцінювання учнів – 3 хв. Персональне оцінювання учнів з коментарями, нагородження команди – переможця.

Teacher: You have done the great job! Now we are going to name the winner of our competition. The members of this team are getting the golden medals! And listen to your marks for your personal work at the lesson. (Each pupil gets a mark).

8. Повідомлення домашнього завдання – 1 хв.

Teacher: Today we have spoken about the appearance of people. Your hometask will be to write a story - description  of  your favourite literary hero.

9.Підсумки уроку – 1 хв.                                                                                   You have proved that you have a good knowledge on the topic ”Appearance”.  You can work like a real friendly team. Good – bye, pupils. See you later!
