Тема: Nature around us. Environment. Ecological Problems.

Мета: формувати навички монологічного мовлення на рівні речення  (мікровисловлювання)   з опорою на ключові слова, розширювати знання учнів з граматики та навколишнього світу, розвивати в учнів вміння логічно викладати думки, виховувати правильне та відповідальне ставлення до навколишнього світу.

Тип уроку: ФЗУН

Обладнання: глобус,відео до пісні, кросворд,тексти «Planet Report», слова надруковані.

When the Earth is green, it is healthy. Green Earth means that the soil is good, the air is clean, the water is fresh and animals have places to live and things to eat.

  Our planet is 4600 million years old, but imagine for a moment that it is only 46.

One minute ago machines and industry appeared.

In the last 60 seconds man:

      -     has grown in number from 1 billion to 6 billion today.

а) гра

Teacher: Let’s play a little. You see some Ukrainian words on the blackboard. Find their English equivalents. (На магнітній дошці учні повинні знайти переклад для деяких українських слів і з’єднати їх)

English words: Environment, pollution, wastes, wildlife, nature, to protect, to reuse, to reduce, cut down, chemicals, recycle, destroy,air, throwing.

Ukrainian words: природа, викиди, дикий світ, повітря, використовувати ще раз, знищувати, забруднення, навколишнє середовище, зменшувати, захищати, хімікати,відходи, вирубати.

б) перекласти з англійської на українську

Not everything is OK with the environment nowadays. With the development of civilization we face many ecological problems.

We fly to other planets and make many discoveries, create artificial intellect and get to the depth of the ocean.

It is time to stop and think about Nature. It will not forgive us.

в) перекласти речення,закріплюючи вживання умовних речень (Conditional Sentences)

use the words from the game and make up the conditional sentences :

-If people stop throwing chemicals into the rivers or seas, they will protect water from pollution.

- If we don’t cut down trees in the woods, we will not destroy wildlife.

-If we recycle or reuse wastes, we will save natural riches.

-If we reduce driving cars we will have our air clean and fresh.

c) What is the way out? What can you do to keep the Earth clean and healthy?

Учні мають картки з відповідями на питання, по черзі прикріплюють на дошку у вигляді променів сонця:

• save everything alive on the Earth ( we are cruel to animals kill them and make tests with them while preparing cosmetics and medicine)
• plant trees ( A healthy tree can have a value up to 10000,it feeds,it heats.Trees reduce noise, give building materials, create shade and make landscape look beautiful)    
• drive cars less (One bus carries as many people as 40 cars!)
• use natural sources of energy (More than 1/3 of all energy is used by people at home)
• recycle materials (Every ton of paper that is recycled saves 17 trees)
• use purification equipment (Each person throws away approximately 2 kilogrames of garbage every day)
• save water (water comprises 70 % of the Earth and body, We each use about 45,000 litters of water every year)
