to develop Ps’ listening, writing and speaking skills.
Vocabulary: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Structures: “I eat … for breakfast. I drink … for breakfast.”
Materials: PB, sheets of paper, pencils.
Outcomes: by the end of the lessons Ps will be able to use new words and word combinations, say the chant and write about their meals.
1. Warming up
Ex. 1, p. 91 – listen and say the chant.
Explain to Ps that they are going to listen to the audio and say the chant.
Bananas for breakfast,
Bananas for lunch.
I like bananas!
Munch, munch, munch!
Bananas for dinner,
Before going to sleep.
I like bananas!
They are so sweet!

Translate words in bold.

Ex. 2, p. 91 – listen and point.
I eat toasts and yogurt for breakfast.
I eat an apple, too.
I drink juice for breakfast.
I eat soup and sandwich for lunch.

I like fruit salad for lunch.
I eat potatoes, tomatoes and
cucumbers for dinner.
I like a cake, too.
I drink tea for dinner.
