Let’s read the poem

      How is the weather?

How is the weather? It is windy.

It is windy today.

  • Let’s match the coloured words with the pictures.
  • Find the key word   (today)
  • Find a similar word in the past  (yesterday)
  • Find a word repeated in each sentence  (is)
  • Listen to the equivalent of this word in the past WAS

Remember!

WAS-    to say only about 1 person or thing, about weather

WERE- to speak less about 2 things or people

Let’s redo the poem and recite it in the past
