Про матеріал

Урок відповідає навчальній програмі « Навчальні програми з іноземних мов для загальноосвітніх навчальних закладів ».

Тип даного уроку: урок творчого застосування знань і вдосконалення вмінь.

Основна дидактична мета: повторити лексику теми «Їжа», навчити визначати важливість здорового харчування, розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення, аудіювання, читання, письма. Урок спрямований на практичне застосування граматичного матеріалу – злічувані та незлічувані іменники.

На уроці стимулюється робота із словником, розвиваються навички перекладу.

Урок супроводжується учительською комп'ютерною презентацією Power Point, яка значно підвищує інтерес учнів до навчання.

До уроку додається роздатковий матеріал для групової роботи на етапі актуалізації опорних знань, вивчення віршів, розгадування загадок та складання головоломок.

THEME OF THE LESSON:FOOD. MEALS.

OBJECTIVES:

  • to sum up the vocabulary on the topic “Food”;
  • to practice using grammar material;
  • to practice listening skills;
  • to help pupils  to  understand the importance of healthy food;
  • to develop communicative skills and stimulate creative thinking .
  • to provide pupils with practice in listening comprehension;
  • to involve pupils  into reading, writing, communicative activities by means of pair and group work;
  • to stimulate pupils imaginative thinking on the subject .
  • to broaden pupils’ outlook
  • to develop pupils’ memory and intellectual ability;

 

EQUIPMENT:Textbooks, a presentation “Food”, cards for speaking and writing.

 

                                        PROCEDURE

I. WARMING UP

1. Greeting

T: Good morning everybody! Good morning students!

P-s: Good morning! Good morning!

2.Warm up

Teacher: How are you today? Take your “faces” and if youfeel great – take a smile;  and if you are sad and unhappy, take a sad face. Now show me your faces, please. Well, I see that everybody is happy so we can start our lesson. (Or: Some of you are not happy, but I am sure your mood will change to the end of the lesson.)Now I suggest you to learn the poem:

MILK OR SUGAR?

THE TEA IS HOT.

ARE YOU THIRSTY?

NO, I AM NOT.

BREAD AND BUTTER,

HONEY AND JAM.

ARE YOU HUNGRY?

YES, I AM.

3. Theme and aims of the lesson.

“Brainstorming “

Т:Today we continue to travel to the interesting land . It has got two names. You have already known  its first name. It is “FOOD”. Try to guess its second name.

Guess  , make the pictures and write the names of the words.

Work in groups:

І group: tomato;

ІІ group: egg;

ІІІ group: jam;

ІVgroup: milk;

Vgroup:fish.

Т:  First group underline the third letter, the second group – the first letter, the third group  – the second letter, the fourth group – the third letter, the fifth – the third letter.

Let’s read together.

Т, Ps: Meals.

T: It means  «Їжа».

T:On our today`s lesson we`re going to speak about food. We`ll read the text about “Lunch at School”,  remember the names of different kinds of food, work in groups, pairs, listen   to the text about lunch and do a test.

II. MAIN PART OF THE LESSON.

1.VOCABULARY PRACTICE.

T: At first let’s revise fruit and vegetables.

RIDDLES: You should guess the answer to the fruit or vegetables riddle.

1) I can be red or green or yellow.   I grow in the tree in the garden.   I am tasty in autumn and in winter. What am I?(apple)

2) I am very small. I am red. I grow in the orchard. I am ripe in summer. My first letter is “C”. Children like jam with me. What am I? (cherry)

3) It is yellow and long. It is very tasty. (banana)

4) The berry which grows on the straw.(strawberry)

5) It has very many shirts .It is white and round(cabbage)

6) It is green and long. We make salad from it.(cucumber)

T: I think you are tired. Let’s have a rest. What is in the picture? Yes, it is HONEY. Who likes honey? The bear likes it very much. Let’s sing song.

4.WRITING.

T:Make the sentences as more as you can (2 minutes)

5.LISTENING

T: You are going to listen a text, but before that let`s remember some words.

Lunch at School.

Twelve o`clock is the time for lunch in our school. Children are running to the school cafe. They are thirsty and very hungry. Today they have some potatoes and some fish, a glass of tea and some biscuits for their lunch. There are also different kinds of hamburgers, pizzas and salads. Pupils can buy bottles of water, cans of lemonade or cartons of juice. My friend Pete likes to buy a bar of chocolate or a box of sweets. We like to have lunch at school.
