Мета:     продовжувати знайомство з темою «Музика», музичними стилями та напрямками, ввести нові ЛО, формувати лексичні навички, навички читання, навички усного мовлення і аудіювання; тренувати навички вживання підрядних речень часу та умови на позначення майбутньої дії;

сприяти розвитку мовленнєвої компетентності, удосконалювати техніку читання та тренувати учнів в аудіюванні; розвивати вміння аналізувати, порівнювати, узагальнювати та навички роботи з текстом; 

виховувати прагнення до саморозвитку, естетичний смак.

Обладнання:  підручник А. Несвіт «English» (8 кл)

наочний матеріал (ілюстрації та плакати із зображеннями представників різних музичних напрямків);

граматичний матеріал довідника в підручнику;

індивідуальні картки;

комп’ютер, записи музичних зразків різних стилів.

I. Організаційний етап. Warming-up

Greeting 

Good morning, the eighth form! How are you today?

We are fine, thank you!

II. Актуалізація опорних знань. Перевірка домашнього завдання

     Let’s talk about your preferences.

•          What do you like more? (Pop, R&B, Hip-hop, Rap, Rock)

But now we are going to check up on your Home Task   1. Open your textbooks on page 92. Your home task was to do ex.1.

We are going to have very interesting lesson on the topic "Music styles".

Todаy we’ll speak about music, feelings, music styles, revise the vocabulary and learn some new words, read and act the dialogue, practice making short dialogues, listen to the opinion of the other people talking about music, train some grammar, work with text.

IV.Опрацювання нового матеріалу

A lot of people listen to music while doing other things. Do you? Let’s check it. You can see five situations. We need two pupils for every situation: the questioner and the answerer. So,…. , you are the questioner  and , …. , you are the answerer for the first situation.

1.     Game «Interview» (5 min)

2.      - Do you listen to music while you are studying?

- As for me, I don’t like to listen to music while I am studying because it exasperates me.

3.      -Do  you listen to music while you are exercising?

 – In my opinion, it’s a pleasure to do exercises to music.

3. - Do you listen to music while you are eating?

-No, I don’t like to listen to music while I am eating because it’s uncomfortable and impossible to eat normally.

4. - Do you listen to music while you are having a break at school?

-As for me, I like listening to music while I am having a break at school, because      music gives me positive emotions.
5.  - Do you listen to music while you are having a shower? 

No, I don’t. As for me, music prevents me to have a shower. I like to do it in   silence.

Прослухайте уривки і позначте у табличці почуття, які дана музика у вас викликає, визначте колір, який із нею асоціюється. За дослідженнями вчених, жовтий колір – колір інтелекту, раціональності, логічного мислення і практичності; зелений колір – колір гармонії, сердечного тепла, росту, народження нового; фіолетовий означає духовну силу, прагнення до високих ідеалів; синій  – спокій, вірність, задоволення; червоний – енергія, життєва сила, рішучість і твердість характеру; сірий – смуток, страх, відгородження від реальності, гнів; коричневий – відсутність енергії, руху, небажання виділитись, неконфліктнність; чорний –  оборона, накопичення і витіснення того, що дратує, повстання проти дійсності.
