Підтема: Урок узагальнення з теми «Україна – наша Батьківщина»

 

Мета: активізувати країнознавчі знання й мовні уміння учнів;

            розвивати навички усного ситуативного мовлення, колективної

            роботи, роботи в парах, міні групах; розширювати світогляд

            учнів, формувати соціокультурну компетенцію; виховувати

            любов до рідної землі, почуття патріотизму.

 

Тип уроку: урок узагальнення та систематизації знань учнів

 

Обладнання: карта України, глобус, вишиванка, вишитий рушник,

                         мікрофон, ноутбук, проектор, мультимедійна дошка,

                         презентація “Ukraine is our Motherland”

Мотивація навчальної діяльності

 T: Brainstorming( Мозковий штурм) Travelling is very popular nowadays. Answer: Why do people travel?

 P1: Some people travel for pleasure

 P2: Some people want to see the world

 P3: Some want to learn more about different countries, people, traditions etc.

 T: Modern life is impossible without travelling. We often get tired of the same surroundings and daily routine. That’s why the best way of relaxation is travelling to any country. (Video 1)

T: Ukraine’s history knows a lot of brave and courageous people who loved their native land and fought for its independence. The most famous were Zaporizhian Cossacks. Answer the questions:

1. What does the word “Cossack” mean?
2. What military organization did they unite into?
3. Was Zaporizhska Sich the first democratic formation in Europe?
4. What do you know about Zaporizhian Cossacks?

 “A snowball tree is a poetic and plant symbol of Ukraine” (слайд 10)

 

P1: Every country has its symbol of plant. In our country it’s a snowball tree.

    There are many songs and poems about this tree. It’s very popular in medicine

    of our country. The berries of this tree symbolize the courage of our people. This

    plant is the symbol of our native land and parent’s home. In people’s legends

   the berries of this tree are filled with blood.

P2: Кожна країна має свої символи-рослини. Внашій країні – це калина.

      Є багато пісень та віршів про це дерево. Воно дуже популярне в медицині

      нашої країни. Ягоди цього дерева символізують мужність нашого

      народу. Ця рослина – символ нашої рідної землі і батьківського дому.

• This is a favourite Ukrainian food. We use it in many forms: uncooked, fried, smoked, salted (salo)
• They can be filled with potato, cabbage, mushrooms, meat, apples, berries. They are served with sour cream (varenyky)
• They should be eaten hot. This is a rule. (halushky)
• This dish is made with a variety of fillings wrapped in cabbage leaves (holubtsy)
• It’s a tasty drink of fried fruit and berries. (uzvar)
• This Ukrainian soup is famous in many countries. To prepare it you need a head of cabbage, meat, beetroots, carrots, tomatoes, greens, spices. (borshch)
